Key Words: Perception, Intrinsic Motivation, Extrinsic Motivation.

This study aimed to find out about the, to that related to students’ learn English motivation in the tenth grade of SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya.

The type of research used was a survey in research form of quantitative method, Quantitative research, is defined as a the systematic investigation of phenomena by gathering quantifiable data and performing statistical, mathematical or computational techniques. Quantitative research gathers information from existing and potential customers using sampling methods and sending out online surveys, online polls, questionnairesetc., the results of which can be depicted in the form of numericals. After careful understanding of these numbers to predict the future of a product or service and make changes accordingly.. The instrument used was questionnaire, adopted from Tomoharu Takahashi there were 34 items, which contained about motivation. The data analysis used SPSS 20.00 software. The research subjects were 135 tenth grade students of Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya Vocational High School.

Based on the result of study, it found that: 1). Intrinsic motivation in learning English (80.2%) students like to learn English and English it is important to get a job. 2).

Extrinsic motivation (74.2%) students learn English, they follow friends and follow school rules or are told by teachers to learn English.

The conclusion from this research is the students have a good record if it has a well and motivated as well, and this study concludes their tie's difference between learning motivation and achievement of students on two different courses, and Motivation is a key concept to be a success in learning. The student who has high motivation would do the best in learning even though the materials were felt difficult. On the contrary, a student who has low motivation would get bored and be indifferent in learning even though the materials given were so easy.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang, yang berhubungan dengan motivasi belajar bahasa Inggris siswa di kelas sepuluh SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dalam bentuk penelitian metode kuantitatif, Penelitian kuantitatif, didefinisikan sebagai investigasi sistematis terhadap fenomena dengan mengumpulkan data yang dapat dikuantifikasi dan melakukan teknik statistik, matematika atau komputasi. Penelitian kuantitatif mengumpulkan informasi dari pelanggan yang ada dan potensial menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel dan mengirimkan survei online, jajak pendapat online, kuesioner, dll., Yang hasilnya dapat digambarkan dalam bentuk numerik. Setelah memahami dengan cermat angka-angka ini untuk memprediksi masa depan suatu produk atau layanan dan melakukan perubahan yang sesuai.. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, diadopsi dari Tomoharu Takahashi ada 34 item, yang berisi tentang motivasi. Analisis data menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 20.00. Subjek penelitian adalah 135 siswa kelas sepuluh SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa: 1). Motivasi intrinsik dalam belajar bahasa Inggris (80,2%) siswa suka belajar bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Inggris, penting untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan. 2). Motivasi ekstrinsik (74,2%) siswa belajar bahasa Inggris, mereka mengikuti teman dan mengikuti aturan sekolah atau diberitahu oleh guru untuk belajar bahasa Inggris.

Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah siswa memiliki catatan yang baik jika memiliki motivasi yang baik dan juga, dan penelitian ini menyimpulkan perbedaan ikatan mereka antara motivasi belajar dan prestasi siswa pada dua mata pelajaran yang berbeda. Motivasi adalah konsep kunci untuk menjadi sukses dalam belajar. Siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi akan melakukan terbaik dalam belajar meskipun materi terasa sulit. Sebaliknya, siswa yang memiliki rendah motivasi akan bosan dan acuh tak acuh dalam belajar meskipun materi yang diberikan begitumudah.
