Our Management Team

Towhid Hossain

MD & CEO

Star•ng early in the year 2004 with FIFO Tech, he embarked on the long journey that was to shape his IT Management career. He has diverse and extensive experience in the

Telecoms Sector, having worked for mul•ple worldwide recognized companies like GrameenPhone, WorldTel and Noor-Bangla, among many other pres•gious and well known firms. His reach extended even into the Contact Center industry, where he has played direct roles in companies like A2Z BPO, Eva Telecommunica•ons, FIFO Tech and Virgo Contact Center Services Ltd. Due to his incomparable work in the IT industry, he is also serving in the Bangladesh Associa•on of Call Center and Outsourcing (BACCO), in the posi•on of Finance Secretary, session 2013-2015 and currently he is the Secretary General of BACCO.

He is engaged in various projects; he has worked with the Bangladesh Technical Educa•on Board (BTEB) and the Interna•onal Labor Organiza•on (ILO) on a Skills Development and Training program as a Panelist for the ICT Sector.

He is also currently working with several Government organiza•ons on mul•ple projects, such as the the Ministry of Informa•on and Communica•on Technology (MoICT) and the Ministry of

Commerce (MoC).

He is also the Founder Director of Serve Bangladesh Society (NGO, involved in the Educa-•on Sector) and The Corporate Club, an elite group of Professional of Bangladesh.

He is currently the MD and CEO of the Consor•um, where he is the Managing force behind it and the other companies under its umbrella.

MOHAMMAD SHAMIMUL ISLAM

Manager, Business Development

Mohammad Shamimul Islam has started his career at Australia in 2003 a%er Gradua•ng in IT from Univer-sity of Southern Queensland. He worked as a Junior Computer Programmer at CISCO, Sydney •ll 2010. A%er moving back to Bangladesh, he has been working as a Business Development Manager with FIFO Tech from 2014. He works to improve this organiza•on’s market posi•on and achieve financial growth. This person defines long-term organiza•onal strategic goals, builds key customer rela•onships, iden•fies business opportuni•es, nego•ates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market condi•ons. Working in a senior sales posi•on within the company, it is his responsibility to work with the internal team, marke•ng staff, and other managers to increase sales opportuni•es and thereby maximize revenue for their organiza•on.

MD. ALA UDDIN JONY

Manager, Finance and Admin

Md. Ala Uddin Jony has led a short, but highly produc•ve life in the IT/ITES industry. With modest roots, he started his career by learning the ropes in management of finance and accounts for BPO firms. Eventually, his acumen and skills for effec•ve finance management developed greatly and today, he is capable of full administra•on and management of financial divisions of firms with 300+ employees. His effec•ve skills and exper•se in this field has led him to join the team here at FIFO Tech, where he is fully and solely responsible for management of the financial division as well as overlooking key accounts of VIP clients.

JAHANGIR HOSSAIN UZZAL

Manager, Call Center Opera•ons

Jahangir Hossain Uzzal started his career as an IT Support Engineer at Virgo Contact Center in 2010 and later on has joined FIFO Tech in 2013 as a Call Center Opera•ons manager. He’s key role in this firm is the daily running and management of the centre through the effec•ve use of resources. He is responsible for mee•ng, and possibly se'ng, customer service targets as well as planning areas of improvement or development. Call centre managers ensure that calls and emails are answered by staff within agreed •me scales and in an appropriate manner. And also being an IT Support Engineer he monitors and maintains the computer systems and networks within this firm in a technical support role. He also works for so%ware or equipment suppliers providing a%er-sales support or companies that specialize in providing IT mainte-nance and support.

SAMIR K. CHAKRABORTY

COO

He has built up a vast and well-defined structure of experience and exper•se, during his long seven years in the Telecommunica•ons, Call Center and Services industry. Having worked at all levels of Opera•ons, from ground to Top Management, he is well versed in analyzing, iden•fying and execu•ng commands and orders needed to smoothly run the Opera•onal aspects of any industry.

His extensive exposure to the Supply Chain Management sector has enabled him to buildup a vast poten-•al, allowing him to effec•vely and efficiently solve any need that companies may have. Amongst many other companies, he has also worked extensively for Robi Axiata, where he was given several opportuni•es to sharpen and hone his skills.

Today, he is working in the posi•on of COO for the Consor•um and has gained a formidable foothold in the Business Services industry of Bangladesh.
