John Deere (Kelly Services Inc.) Milan, IL November 2015 – Present Packaging Operations - Packaging Utilization performance regularly exceeded baseline value by performing at 110%.
Assumed all responsibilities of the Inspection Coordinator position. Developed, designed, and improved the training materials for the Inspection Coordinator position. Determine dispositions for parts sent to inspection through communication to suppliers and factories. Implemented new process for freight received from distribution center without paperwork. Determine packaging solutions for service parts; update packaging on current parts as needed, assist analysts on projects including preservative updates, reviewing adequate packaging solutions, and container material descriptions.
Henry County Fair Association Cambridge, IL October 2009 – Present
President - Played a vital role in the evaluation and update of annual expenses to aide in the payoff of over $100,000 in debt,
accrued from prior years. Was recognized as the youngest county fair board president in state history. Recruited five active community members to serve on the board.
Advertising & Marketing Coordinator - Facilitate all advertising aspects including radio and television ads. Maintenance and
promotion of social media, print and online advertising materials. Design and construction of 80 plus page annual fair book. Increased sponsorship contributions by $10,000 in first year, and continuing to grow annually. Promote the county fair through multiple personal radio and television interviews. Planned and executed ribbon-cutting ceremonies for two newly constructed buildings.

Organization: Cambridge Fire Department
Positions Held: Firefighter, Safety Officer, Firemen’s Ball Chairman Dates: May 2009 – December 2016
Duties:
Safety Officer: This role presented me with the opportunity to see a different side of fire scenes. As a Safety Officer, I was in charge to oversee fire ground operations and ensure firefighters were operating safely and effectively. The role enabled me to enhance communication abilities with others wile assuming an authority role with peers.
Firemen’s Ball Chairman: As chairman of the event committee, I organized the planning and committee meetings for pre-planning of the annual fundraiser. In this position, I created a timeline for the committee to follow and meet deadlines, created a binder of information from previous years, ensured each facet of the event planning was carried out, and reported to the other department members at our monthly department meetings. While in this role, I contacted the beer distributor to place order and coordinate delivery and pick up times, applied for local and state liquor licenses, and ensured the insurance and bonds were completed.
Organization: Cambridge Ambulance Service Positions Held: EMT-Basic, President Dates: June 2009 – December 2016 Duties:
President: This role was a natural transition from my role in assisting operations of the department. In this role, I was able to help revise outdated bylaws and aide in the creation of new ones. I retyped and created the new document to be reviewed yearly. In this role, I was able to increase productivity of monthly meetings by enforcing Robert’s Rule of Order and efficiently create committees for activities and projects.
Organization: Henry County Fair Association
Position: Board Member, President Advertising & Marketing Coordinator Dates: May 2009 – December 2016
Duties:
Board Member: Being a board member, I collaborated with peers during monthly meetings to organize several facets of the week long fair. As a board member, I served on several committees and complete tasks such as premium reviews and proposals, grounds improvements and acquiring sponsorships.
President: While I was in the role of Board President for the association, it was recognized by the state association that I was the youngest individual to ever be a county fair board president in the state of Illinois. While serving as president, I regrouped the board and delivered momentum for the group’s drive to serve our communities. I was able to move the production of our annual fair book to in house, generating over $10,000 in revenue through the selling of advertisements in the first year.
Advertising & Marketing Coordinator: This role as coordinator helped me gain communication skills and better serve the organization. I was the designated PR for the organization and responded to several media requests via face-to-face interviews and written statements. Organizing advertisement proposals for the board, I was able to meet with numerous advertising executives and create a strategy that fit the organization’s needs.
Concert Superintendent: Organizing a concert for the county fair was a long time goal of mine. While serving on the board, I was able to research opportunities and make contact with several companies in Nashville. Throughout organizing and planning the event, I communicated to production, artist management, and booking agency
frequently to keep our deadlines on track. I was able to form sub-committees for the event and oversaw operations up to and during the event.
