43 At Oleana we believe that we have to buy fewer,
but more beautiful clothes in our part of the world. Oleana’s designer, Solveig Hisdal, is the sole designer of all Oleana’s creations. You can recognize her signature in the flower ornaments and the especially beautiful colour combinations.
The textile industry is the oldest industry in the world. Oleana is one of the youngest factories in Norway. We are the only one that both knits and sews everything in our own factory. We are located on the west coast of Norway, just outside Bergen.
You are most welcome to visit our factory by the fjord. There you can see for yourself: slow clothes, fair made. Really made in Norway.
