Match Facts
• South Africa are undefeated in this format against Bangladesh, they have won all six of the previous meetings between these two nations.
• They have only met once previously in an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and that was at the inaugural 2007 edition where South Africa won by seven wickets.
• Bangladesh will be missing talisman Shakib Al Hasan, who is out injured for the rest of the tournament. He is currently the second highest leading wicket taker (11) and the ninth highest leader run scorer (131) in the tournament.
• In the last T20 International played between these teams in 2017, David Miller struck five consecutive sixes in an innings of 101 (36 balls). He’ll be looking to replicate this following his last over heroics vs Sri Lanka in Match 25.

• This will be only the second time these two nations have met in any format of cricket and the first time in T20 Internationals.
• Pakistan sit top of Group 2, with a 100% win record in the tournament so far. They are also undefeated in their last 14 T20 Internationals in the UAE, the highest current streak by any nation in a particular country.
• Namibia’s David Wiese has 142 runs at an average of 47.33 from his five innings at this year’s edition. He has also struck the joint second most sixes (8) in the tournament so far.
• No batter’s have struck more T20 International runs this calendar year than Pakistan’s openers, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan; between them they have amassed 1,523 runs.
• Victory for Pakistan will all but secure their spot in the semi-finals. Namibia must if they are to have a chance at progressing through to their first semi-final at an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

• England maintained their 100% record in this year’s tournament by defeating Sri Lanka by 26 runs in match 29 to take them one step closer to securing a spot in the semi-final.
• After losing the toss and being sent into bat, England were 36-3 at the end of the Powerplay. A partnership of 112 runs between captain Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler elevated England to 163/4 from their 20 overs. Jos Buttler scored the first century of this year’s tournament finishing 101* (67 balls). Wanindu Hasaranga was the pick of the bowlers for Sri Lanka, he picked up 3/21 from his four overs.
• Sri Lanka fell 26 runs short of England’s total, they were bowled out for 137 in 19 overs.
Wanindu Hasaranga topped of a solid all-round performance, top scoring with 34 (21 balls) with the bat for Sri Lanka. Three bowlers for England picked up two wickets apiece, with Adil Rashid the most economical, picking up 2/19 from his four overs.
Milestones Achieved
• Jos Buttler became only the eighth man and the second Englishman to score a century at an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. His innings of 101* (67) balls was his highest score in this format and the highest individual score at this year’s tournament. He is the first Englishman to score a century in all three formats of cricket.
• In his innings, Jos Buttler also became the fastest English batter to surpass 2,000 international runs, achieving the feat in just 78 innings.
• Victory for England meant that Eoin Morgan became the most successful captain in T20 International cricket; it was his 43
rdvictory as captain, surpassing MS Dhoni’s previous record (42).
• Wanindu Hasaranga became the fifth fastest bowler to take 50 T20 International
wickets, he achieved this feat in just his 32
ndmatch.
