ADVANCED MANAGEMENT PROGRAM INTENSIVE 2016

A Unique Opportunity

Once executives have reached a certain level in their

career, experience and knowledge, how can they reach

new levels in their professional development? Which

knowledge and management tools are really important

to update for the future? What new skills, competencies

and capabilities are required to succeed in a new business

environment?

At IE Top Management Programs we will deliver answers to these questions. We view Executive Education as a way for managers, directors and company leaders to update skills, gain insights into latest trends and practices and network with experts and other managers.

The Advanced Management Program (AMP) is specifically designed for executives and entrepreneurs with a clear international vision who hold positions of major responsibility and have been identified by their organizations as leaders. The AMP responds to the training needs of top managers who have reached a stage in their career where they are poised to seek positions of maximum responsibility in the near future.

Participants increase their personal and professional capabilities, analyze new management models and broaden their network with new colleagues from different organizations and countries. During the program, they have the opportunity to exchange and debate best practices with their colleagues, professors and leading practitioners.

The AMP is designed as a unique experience combining introspection and the acquisition of new skills and capabilities which aid a manager’s personal and professional transformation. The objective is to achieve a double impact for the participant both in their level of training but also in their success in the workplace.

The AMP offers a privileged environment to develop a new global and strategic vision of business realities delivering a deep understanding of future trends and their probable impact on business which will aid participants in their transition to higher management roles within their organizations.

What does AMP offer participants?

• One-on-one interaction with top-level teaching

faculty who will challenge you to review your management methods and styles.

• Share experiences, exchange best management practices and substantially increase personal and professional relations (*) at an international level thanks to teaching methods and

dynamics that encourage interaction amongst participants.

• Update management models and strengthen the skills required for top executive positions.

What does AMP offer companies?

More efficient and effective managers:

• Top managers and leaders with an enhanced capacity to understand the business environment and to take on management in a new context that requires to be fully equipped to deliver alternatives and new strategic opportunities to their organizations. • Top managers and leaders who have

strengthened their skills in order to manage teams effectively and to implement innovative strategies.

• Top managers and leaders who have approached benchmarking by exchanging experiences with world-class professors, practitioners and colleagues from different industries, functions, organizational cultures and countries.

IE’s online education platform used on the AMP Blended makes use of two main types of class, Videoconferences (synchronous) and Forums (asynchronous).

Videoconference sessions allow both students and professors live participation via video and audio connections. Each session lasts 90 minutes. This allows class members to maintain weekly face-to-face contact with the professor and fellow participants. Sessions may consist of a mixture of case discussions, group presentations and theoretical lectures. Between Monday and Thursday sessions take place on the discussion forums. Participants connect to the Virtual Campus in order to access the forums which are active 24 hours a day. This allows students to make their written contributions at whatever hour best fits in with their timetable. The number of intervention per student is limited to encourage a fluid debate (5 short contributions per student). This style of debate where every comment is recorded leads to a highly reflective and analytical debate.
