OPG Power Ventures Plc (OPGPV) is a company Listed in the London stock exchange (AIM)

The operations of the Group are based in the Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Karnataka. The

Group’s power plants are held in individual Indian subsidiaries

The main objective of each plant is to supply power to HT Industrial / Commercial Users

Process flow for Third Party Power Sale

STEP 1:

• Analysis of power requirements, short-term and long-term solutions

• Arriving at solution for exact requirement of 3

rd

party power

STEP 2:

• Offer letter for supply of power, including price, payment details and all other terms & conditions

• Acceptance Letter from consumer

STEP 3:

• Apply for NOC from concerned SEB / TNEB

STEP 4:

• NOC to be submitted to OPG for obtaining necessary approval from TNEB (Approx.. 2-5 days

)

STEP 5:

• The consumer entering third party sale have to execute an undertaking with the SEB

Arvind Gupta – Managing Director and CEO

► Degree in Commerce from University of Madras.

► CEO of OPG Power Ventures from inception of the business in 2000.

► He also managed food and steel interests and real estate development of OPG Enterprises encompassing residential, commercial and logistics projects, a family business set up by Arvind’s father the late O.P. Gupta.

V.Narayan Swami – Finance Director

► Over 30 years of experience in investment banking, project finance and structured finance.

► Worked for Ashok Leyland, Best & Crompton, State Bank of India, Standard Chartered Bank, Trans Arabian Investment Bank at Senior Management Level.

► Was CFO of Essar Telecom Group when the business was sold to Hutchison Whampoa at a valuation of over $600m.

M.C. Gupta – Non-Executive Chairman

► Mr Gupta (no relation) is a retired Senior Civil Servant of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the premier civil service of India.

► Mr Gupta held senior civil service appointments including Secretary to the Ministry of Industry, Government of India, and Chief Secretary to the state government of Haryana.

Martin Gatto – Senior Non-Executive Director

► Considerable UK plc experience including CFO of British Energy Plc where he implemented the successful turnaround of the company.

► CFO Midland Electricity Plc where he sold the company to EON for £1bn.

► Also held CFO role at Somerfield plc and was CFO of Hilton International where he was also responsible for business development.

► Graduate of Brunel University, FCMA.

Mike Grasby - Non- Executive Director

► Extensive senior management experience in the engineering and utilities sectors in UK, Portugal, Turkey and Pakistan, Czech Republic, including senior vice president at International Power, manager of Drax Power Station, director of operations for National Power’s portfolio.

► Currently non-executive director of Drax Power. He is a member of the Remuneration and Nominations committees and Chairman of the Health and Safety Committee.

► Mr Grasby is a Chartered Engineer, FIET and FIMechE.

Ravi Gupta –Non-Executive Director

► The brother of Arvind, Ravi is a co founder of OPG Energy and Chairman of Kanishk Steel Industries Ltd.
