JOB TITLE:

SmartUQ (SmartUQ.com)provides breakthrough analytics software for engineering applications. Our

software is used by some of the largest engineering companies in the world. We are an innovative, fast-growing company located near downtown Madison, WI.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Product Marketing Manager will have the opportunity to develop and manage marketing programs for SmartUQ and work with the sales and engineering teams to ensure that brand positioning and messaging is consistent across all SmartUQ’s channels. The primary objective of the role is lead generation through deep understanding of market opportunities, sales priorities, and successful campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop strategies and manage marketing programs to drive demand for SmartUQ • Optimization of website content to reach and attract potential users

• Collaborate with internal teams to create content (e.g. case studies, website copy, white papers, press releases, blogs) to drive business

• Lead digital marketing campaigns focused on inbound marketing, demand generation, online visibility and lead generation

• Work across functionally to create materials that clearly demonstrate the value of our product • Measure and analyze effectiveness of marketing strategies and develop innovative initiatives • Research the marketplace and analyze potential opportunities

• Understand our customers’ needs and align our marketing initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree

• 3+ years of product marketing experience for simulation or analytics software • Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent people and management skills

• Proven ability to successfully execute marketing programs such as targeted direct mail and email,

field events and social media

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for your products. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products. You'll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and

develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products

• Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan

• Market intelligence – be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them

JOB SUMMARY

The Field Marketing Manager will develop, manage and evolve marketing programs for the ANSYS regional sales teams. This position works closely with key program stakeholders including product marketing managers, industry marketing managers, product managers, support teams and ANSYS regional sales teams. The primary objective of the role is demand generation through successful campaign execution and understanding of key industry trends, strategic market opportunities and sales priorities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Plans demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline for the sales organization Executes strategic global marketing campaigns and regional industry campaigns at the territory level Identifies new tactics to connect with market across all personas including users, managers and executives

Builds a community of customers, prospects and students through PR, social media, webinars and other digital tactics

Nurtures existing leads through digital content, events and other persona appropriate marketing methods

Monitor lead flow within the territory to ensure the appropriate sales channels are receiving and following up on leads

Creates and manage territory program budget; measures ROI of field marketing tactics through metrics analysis and reporting

JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing

Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a sales organization

Proven ability to successfully execute a variety of marketing programs, including targeted direct mail and email, field events, social media, executive engagements, awareness campaigns

Experience with marketing automation systems to successfully run campaigns Ability to work very independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong analytics, reporting, and written communication skills

Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables

OTHER INFORMATION

Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred MBA or other advanced degree is a plus

Experience in B2B and B2C demand generation environment for technology industry preferred Ability to travel up to 25%
