Our Enterprise Architecture service captures an enterprise- wide view of our client’s business and technology

We believe Enterprise Architecture plays a key role in translating our client’s business vision and strategy into IT strategy and implementation plans which deliver improvements that are maintainable, reliable, secure, and scalable moving forward.

As an enterprise moves towards cost effective technological solutions like cloud, our Enterprise architecture services ensure that our client’s strategic business objectives are achieved through cloud technology framework.

Our Architects look across the client’s enterprise to understand their business vision, short term and long term strategy. We analyse business and information requirements and align solutions to the business and IT strategy. We get involved with our clients right from project specification phase to project design and support phase playing a dynamic role in governance, implementing architectural vision, roadmaps and designs for Information, Application and Technology Architectures. Our Enterprise Architectural services also provide comprehensive support for all aspects of enterprise architecture management.

Our Enterprise Architecture services play an important role in the selection of appropriate technology and vendor to achieve their strategic objectives.

Information Architecture

Our Enterprise Architecture service defines the information requirements and constraints and from this will set the architecture vision, roadmap and design. Activities would be likely to include:

• Assess current state information & data architecture and set blue print for future state information & Data architecture using cloud technology

• Provision of information & data architecture to

enhance information based intelligent decision making capabilities

• Bringing Information and Data Architecture practices for process, policies and standards

• Definition of information and data governance to ensure the correct control, communication and definition to achieve the strategic objectives

• Definition of the relevant Cloud information & data security, access policies and standards that is appropriate for each client’s environment

• Planning for the data quality needs of the organization and the consistent distribution of data across all channels

Application Architecture

Our Enterprise Architecture service will define solution and application strategy which is in-line with business objectives to ensure:

• Application of Cabinet Office/Government policies and Strategies. E.g.: Open Source and Open Standards

• Definition of Cloud best practices in terms of process, policies, expected outputs, standards

• The assessment of current state application architecture and tailor future state cloud hosted architecture which is scalable, sustainable and easy to support and maintain

• To define governance board to govern architectural changes and enhancements

• Define Architecture policies and standards (including security)

• To ensure application architecture provide and support business improvement that is cost effective

Technology Architecture

We define our client’s Technology architecture which enables them to achieve their short term business objectives and driving towards enterprise long term strategic goals.

Our Enterprise Architecture capability defines and manages the relationships and dependencies between vision, business processes, business initiatives and technologies.

With our experience of delivering cloud technology based projects, we understand the challenges involved in the technology move from existing technology model to a cloud architecture. Our Architect manages these challenges by coordinated planning across all business and technology teams and help proposing various architecture model from private, hybrid or community cloud, based associated business value

Activities to achieve this likely to include:

• Definition of IT roadmaps and plans Improving quality is delivered through goal driven planning

• Maintaining cost and operational efficiency by minimising IT Diversity and exploiting existing assets

• Tailoring the future state technology architecture to maximise existing and Cloud technology

• Ensure to maximize our client’s existing infrastructure along with cloud

• Definition of governance changes and enhancements are in line with the organisational goals

• Following industry standard methodologies (e.g. TOGAF) where appropriate

• We define application integration standards on cloud, as not many integrations standards are available in market as cloud technology is continuously evolving

• Our comprehensive Enterprise Architecture approach addresses areas like technology architecture ownership, security and reliability that are tough to implement in cloud computing

• We setup Enterprise Architecture Board for our clients, which will be responsible for providing recommendations to all cloud related projects and architectural change activities

Integration Architecture

For Cloud computing, integration and security are essential components. We ensure our client’s existing architecture is efficiently and securely integrated with Cloud architecture.

We define integration policies and standards to be followed and ensure the application integration approach is feasible, reliable, secure and performant.

Security Architecture

Security is key to the successful deployment and safe use of Cloud services. The definition and design of a secure architecture which supports an organisation’s requirements and policies is key to our Enterprise Architecture service.

This is likely to include and might vary based on business criticalities:

• Assessing the current state and define future state cloud security architecture

• Define and security process, policies and standards

• Define and implement the appropriate governance to ensure the organisations on-going security

• Working with CLAS consultants on the accreditation (RMADS) of enterprises and applications
