New User Identity Framework

We are implementing a new user identity framework in Toolbox to improve security and to allow for more seamless sign-in experience across our global mobility solutions.

This change will require you to reset your Toolbox password that will need to comply with a stricter validation rule. For details, please refer to the guide.

Once completed, you will be fully migrated into the new environment.

Fig.1: Change your password with a new stricter validation rule

For users, who want to sign up into Toolbox, it now requires you to verify your email address. We will have checks in place if the email address or username is already in use across our global mobility solutions.

Fig.2: Requires verifying your email address Note

Please reach out to [email protected] if you have any further enquiries.

Please clear your web browsing cache before login, to experience the new features mentioned in this release.

Tire Position Numbering Options

Previously, two position numbering types were available and derived from the country you belong to. With this release a new numbering method is added (specially geared towards ultra large OTR customers) and you can now choose your preferred numbering method under your user profile.

The three options are as follows:

Fig.3: Wheel Position Numbering Options selectable in the user profile

.

Fig.4-6: Wheel Position Numbering Options – 3 choices available in WEB (only)

A B C

4

(5)

Option A: Axle + Wheel Number (1-1, 1-2…)

The first number is the axle number, and the second number is the wheel number counted from left to right of the vehicle (arial view).

The wheel number count is starting again by each axle, for instance 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4.

You can immediately tell that there are 2 tires on the first axle and 4 on the second axle.

Fig.7: intelliTire/Tracker: Vehicle Details using Option A Option B: Axle + Direction + Wheel Number (1-L1, 1-R1...)

The first number is the axle number. A letter will follow to define the direction if it is Left or Right of the vehicle (arial view). After the letter comes the wheel number.

The numbering starts from the outer to inner by each direction per axle, for instance, 2-L1, 2-L2, 2-R1, 2-R2. There are 2 tires on the left and 2 on the right for the second axle.

Fig.8: intelliTire/Tracker: Vehicle Details using Option B

(6)

Option C: Wheel Number (1, 2, 3...)

We only take the wheel number for this option. Wheel Number 1 is always on the top left of the first axle (arial view).

It continuously counts the wheels from left to right on each axle, down to the last right wheel of the last axle, for instance, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 for a semi-trailer, see fig. 6.

Fig.9: intelliTire/Tracker: Vehicle Details using Option A

By default, your tire position numbering will be set to your main assigned country.

You can experience the changes immediately across all modules in Toolbox WEB incl. reports.

Wi-Fi icon shows blue when sensor returns latest TPMS reading Wi-Fi icon shows grey when sensor does not receive any readings No icon means that the pressure value has been entered manually

 Showing Critical and Warning icons linked to tasks generated from the data engine

 Location filtering at the top navigation are now taken into account.

Improvement: intelliTire/Tracker – Registering new tires

It will no longer automatically select a tire when you register more than one tire for a position.

This will reduce the chances of accidentally entering the data during an inspection.
