INSTEAD OF ORGANIZING THE 11TH INTERDISCIPLINARY SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ''HORIZONS 2020''
INVITES ALL DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN AUTHORS
Dear Colleagues,
College of Vocational Studies of Preschool Teachers and Trainers, instead of organizing the 11th Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference ''Horizons 2020'', planned for 15th and 16th May, invites all domestic and foreign authors to contribute to the printing of the Thematic Collected Papers ''Internet, Education, Science'' by sending their papers.
The plan of the organizing commitee is to:
hold a reception on 15th May for all the employees of the College of Vocational Studies, as well as all the authors who are welcomed to come bearing their own travelling expenses. On that occasion Students` Poster Presentations will be presented;
On 16th May all the authors who have passed the review procedure and fulfilled the obligations towards the organizers will be delivered the certificates and Thematic Collected Papers by the post.
The reasons for such a decision are technical nature, but also an effort of the School Management to keep the continuity of the Conference going, so that in the future it could be held every second year.
We invite scientists and professionals from the field of Education and Upbringing, Physical Education and Sport, Medicine and Art, as well as all Preschool Teachers and Students to give their contribution to the Conference.
Thematic Collected Papers will include the following sections:
1. Current topics
2. General Education and Pedagogical Practice 3. Physical Education and Sport
4. Medicine and Nutrition 5. Preschool Practice
6. Students` Poster Sections
Official languages for the Thematic Collected Papers are Serbian and English. Papers of the domestic attendees should be written in Latin script, and the foreign papers in English. The theme of the Collected Papers ''Internet, Education, Science'' is not binding.
The authors submit their papers electronically with the deadline 31.12.2019 at the web address www.horizonti.vsovsu.rs.
The full conference paper/papers should be submitted to the address of the coordinators with the 29.02.2020. Detailed instructions for writing the papers are the following INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS.
CERTIFICATES and THEMATIC COLLECTED PAPERS in printed and PDF form will be delivered to all the attendees (at the given address by the registration), who paid the Conference fee and sent the copy of the payment slip to the given address [email protected].
Registration fee for 1 paper in the Thematic Collected Papers (author + all co-authors):
from the territory of the Republic of Serbia 3.000,00 RSD (+ VAT)
from abroad 30,00 € (+ VAT).
Registration fee for 2 papers in the Thematic Collected Papers (author + all co-authors):
from the territory of Republic of Serbia 5.000,00 RSD (+ VAT)
from abroad 50,00 € (+ VAT).
The registration fee for the teachers and students outside of our institution is 1.000,00 RSD (+ VAT).
CLARIFICATION: One paper can include 1 author and max 3 co- authors, who pay this Conference fee together. The first author gets the printed Thematic Collected Papers and the certificate, and the co- authors PDF Thematic Collected Papers and the certificates.
Co-authors who would like to get the printed Thematic Collected Papers pay:
1st co-author 1.500,00 RSD, or 14,00 € (+ PDV)
2nd co-author 2,000,00 RSD, or 18,00 € (+ PDV)
3rd co-author 2,250,00 RSD, or 20,00 € (+ PDV)
Co-authors of external preschool teachers and external students all pay 500,00 dinara (+ PDV)
All payments are to be made to the School account 840-446666-88.

Papers arriving late won`t be taken into consideration and won`t get into review procedure!
All the papers will be peer reviewed and evaluated by ''double-blind'' (two independent reviewers). Remarks and suggestions of the reviewers will be presented to the authors before the final acceptance of the paper.
The authors will be informed about the acceptance of their paper no later than 16.03.2020.
Only original papers are accepted. One participant can be author only once and co-author only once.
The order of appearance of the papers in the Thematic Collected Papers will represent the scientific value of the paper.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE AUTHORS
Thematic Collected Papers ''Internet, edukacija, nauka'', will include theoretical and empirical papers, scientific and expert papers, which deal with all areas represented (Preschool Educational Work, Sport, Fine Arts and Medicine).
Authors from Serbia write their papers in Latin script (with the summary in English at the end of the paper, and the authors from abroad write their papers in English with the summary in Serbian at the end of the paper.
Papers of preschool teachers and students` poster presentations are not subject to review.
Students` poster presentations must have a mentor/s (number of mentors is not limited). Poster works are of the format 100x70 cm (colour print), and the attachment for the Thematic Collected Papers includes:
1. Title of the Poster Work
2. Names of all mentors and students 3. JPG photo of the Poster
4. Accompanying text with 250 words (see the works from 2018).
Scope and font
Papers are written in Microsoft Office Word – font Times New Roman (size 12 for the main text and size 10 for the footnotes and reference list, with 1,5 spacing), centered and with standard margins of 25 mm. Scope of the paper is maximum 6 pages.
Paper should include: ORCID numbers of all the authors, title of the paper, names of the authors and institutions they come from, summary and keywords, text of the paper, conclusion, summary (in Serbian or English) and reference list.
Title of the paper
In Serbian and English, with capital letters, centered, bold. It should be informative, to represent the subject of research and to have maximum 10 words. If the paper originates from some project, the name and number of the project should be given in the footnote. Papers written for lectures, tribunes or scientific conferences should include the name, place and date where they were held. Papers from the defense of the Ph.D. thesis and Master`s thesis should include information about the faculty and the jury. Under the title write the name and last name of the
author (without the title) and institution, after that all co-authors if there are any (centered).
Summary
Summary is written at the beginning of the paper (under the title), the scope should be 120-150 words, containing the aim of the paper, methods applied, main results and the conclusion. Domestic authors should put the title and the summary with the keyword in English at the end of the paper, and the foreign authors put the title and summary of the paper with keyword in Serbian.
Keywords
Keywords are written under the summary. There should be maximum 5 words (5), they are written in small letters separated with coma.
Main text
Papers should be written clearly and logically. Empirical papers should be structured so that they, apart from introduction and conclusion, have three main parts:
1) empirical approach to the problem, 2) methods used in the research 3) results of the research.
Titles within the text
They should be typed bold, centered, with a blank line under and above the title.
Highlighting the text
Parts of the text could be highlighted in italics. Titles and subtitles are printed bold.
References in the text
Names of the foreign authors in the text are cited in Serbian transcription, writing the phonetic pronunciation of the surname and the original name with the publishing year in brackets, e.g. Pijaže (Piaget, 1967). If the work was written by two authors, both names should be cited, and if there are more authors only the name of the first author is cited with the shortage – ''sar'' or ''et al.''.
Quotes
Quotes are followed by references with the surname of the author, publishing year, page number, e.g. (Petrović, 2006: 56). When quoting, quotation marks are used (''n'') or semi-quotation marks (''n'').
Reference list
At the end of the text a reference list of the mentioned authors is given, in the language and letters in which they were published, in the alphabetical order, as follows:

If more works of the same author are quoted in the text published in the same year, the works should be marked with letters next to the publishing year, e.g. 2020a, 2020b.
Tables, graphs, diagrams and photos
Tables, graphs and diagrams should be made in Microsoft Office Word (without vertical lines). Photos (illustrations, drawings) should be scanned (tif, jpg, gif or bmp forma), or made in COREL (never in Word).
They should be marked with numbers, following the text or attachment.
When defining the size, format A4 should be considered. They should be centered. If necessary they have captions. Ordinal numbers are written with Normal font, names in italics: above the tables and graphs and below the photos, e.g.: Table 3. Structure of the research purpose.
Footnotes and abbreviations
Footnotes are used for explanations. Abbreviations should be avoided.
EVALUATION OF ARTICELS
Approved papers are divided into scientific and expert papers:
Scientific papers: 1) original scientific article, 2) review scientific article, 3) short or previous report, 4) scientific critic, or polemics.
Expert papers: 1) expert article, 2) informative contribution, 3) review, 4) bibliography.
ALL WORKS MUST BE PROOFREAD! (At the end of the paper stands the name, surname and e-mail address of the translator and lector).
MANUSCRIPTS OF ARTICLES THAT WILL NOT BE PREPARED BY THIS INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT COME IN THE REVIEW PROCEDURE!
