Committed to ultimate reliability, DFT’s philosophy is to design, build, operate and manage highly dependable and environmentally efficient data centers. Our goal is to maximize Power Usage Effectiveness ("PUE") in all aspects of data center operations. Dynamic electrical distribution and flexible floor plans provide optimal solutions for our tenants. DFT commissions proven technologies, such as rotary UPS and evaporative chilled water systems, in configurations that maximize utilization of the data center design and infrastructure. Our engineering track record and expertise enable us to shorten the duration of construction and minimize costs which directly benefit our clients.
PHILOSOPHY
Located in the western suburbs of Chicago, CH1 is one of the Midwest’s most sophisticated and efficient data centers. The facility is constructed in two phases of 18.2 MW of Critical Load each. Clients are able to lease one or multiple dedicated computer rooms each with independent redundancy and security. The property has multiple major fiber carriers on site and benefits from some of the country’s most competitive power rates. Customers requiring substantial office space can utilize the adjacent and exclusive 32,000 square foot office building.
