RE: Beth A Girgis M.D.- EMS Board Recommendation
Dear Mr. Woodrum;
This letter is written in recommendation of Dr. Beth Girgis to replace the seat currently held by Dr. Jeremy Ingram
for the EMS Board. I have attached her curriculum vitae for your review.
Dr. Girgis has served as an ED physician at Bayfront Medical Center since 2005. She is currently the vice president of
her group, the Emergency Physicians of St. Petersburg. Dr. Girgis is also board certified in emergency medicine.
Dr. Girgis actively holds appointments on the medical staff at local emergency departments. She is active in the
physician technology council and resident teaching at Bayfront. She is a member of the American College of
Emergency Physicians as well as the Florida American College of Emergency Physicians.
She has a keen interest in pre-hospital care and is a staunch supporter of our EMS colleagues. It is with distinct
pleasure that I recommend her to serve the on the EMS Board.
