Characteristics
This is the first intensive, international program in management and business held in southern Poland. The curriculum of the studies was composed to meet the needs of people holding managerial positions. The knowledge gained will facilitate bold solutions of problems, enable faster decision making and allow a variety of strategies in managing an enterprise.

Studies curriculum and duration
• MBA studies are composed of five terms. During first four terms there are classes divided into thematic blocks. The fifth term is totally dedicated to writing the thesis. • Studies comprise 500 teaching hours and 500 hours of one’s own project working,
30% of teaching hours are conducted in English. A part of credit assignments and final tests are also in English, including the final thesis.
• Curriculum is composed of thematic blocks that include multi-faceted management of an enterprise, marketing, accounting, finance, international law, psychology of management, cross-cultural aspects, contemporary economic problems of the world. The curriculum also incorporates a course in Business English.

• Each module is divided into parts and delivered by the faculty of Cracow University of Economics, Stockholm University School of Business, and experts from enterprises who are engaged in a given issue in their professional work.
Methodology of conducting the classes
The classes are conducted in various forms, which allows to understand individual business processes, to exchange experiences with other participants of the program, to know the specialists’ opinions and the latest trends in enterprise functioning.

Diploma
Students receive one diploma having defended the thesis:
• issued by Cracow School of Business at Cracow University of Economics and Stockholm University School of Business,
• plus the diploma issued by Stockholm University School of Business • and a certificate issued by the Minister of Higher Education.
What makes our MBA Program special?
• An additional asset, apart from the knowledge which our students gain during the MBA program, is building net-working and integration. The School meets these requirements by organizing numerous projects that require active participation of students and alumni. Integration and training trips (in Poland and in Sweden),
International MBA Congress – an initiative, which aims at integration of a wide group of people whose professional development path is connected to MBA studies. It is also a possibility of an unusual meeting of the worlds of science and business. The first edition of this project took place in 2005 and was titled: “New trends in business management in today's world”. This year's VII International MBA Congress, under the title “Trends of the new decade in business”, was held on 20-22 May. All–Polish (addressed to all MBA programs) managerial simulation and decision game Tees-6. This contest is conducted in the virtual world among managers running their own companies. • Training for Managers organized together with the foreign partner St. Gallen Business School in Switzerland. Trainings are designed for middle and senior managers who want to be better prepared to perform increasingly complex functions in an international environment. Participation in training allows supplement their knowledge and look at the management of company from a different, an international perspective.
• The School organizes also open lectures, where well-known personalities from the business world, politics and science are invited. • Students are also able to participate in exchanges and research trips to the universities CSB cooperates with.
Recruitment
Requirements
A candidate must present a diploma of completion of higher studies and possess a proven record of at least three years at a managerial position. He/she should also submit two letters of reference.
Recruitement process
Stage I: submitting the required documents:

• in case a candidate has been delegated by his/her company, an MBA application form is required (a blank sample MS WORD format available Cracow School of Business website)
Stage Two: entrance examination
The entrance examination is a logical-analytic English test (patterned after American GMAT test). It consists of 3-4 parts allowing to check candidate’s level of English, the ability of logical thinking, ability to perform mathematical operations and ability to work under time pressure (a sample GMAT test is available at Cracow School of Business website, link Recruitment). Possession of certificates confirming the level of English shall not free from GMAT examination.
Stage Three: the interview
The interview is conducted by the recruitment commission at Cracow School of Business at Cracow University of Economics. Its main objective is to become acquainted with the professional background of candidates, their motivation and future targets. The School pays utmost attention to the appropriate selection of candidates.
Participation costs
The cost of full MBA program amounts to 8950 euros.
That tuition fee may be remitted in installments. The breakdown of installments is presented below:
I installment (30 % of fee) – 2685 € II installment (25 % of fee) – 2237,5 € III installment (25 % of fee) – 2237,5 € IV installment (20 % of fee) – 1790 €
Each installment must be remitted prior to the beginning of each semester.
