Directions
From most directions (except East) it is easiest to approach
the school from Interstate I-787. From I-787 (either
direction):
•
Take the Rensselaer Exit for Rtes. 9 and 20 off of Rte.
787. Travel across the Hudson River on the Dunn
Memorial Bridge.
•
At the end of the bridge, stay to the left, following signs
to East Greenbush via Rtes. 9 and 20.
•
Staying on the main road, you will go through
Rensselaer and up the hill on Columbia Turnpike (Rtes.
9 and 20)
•
After crossing two overpasses (but before the top of
the hill) take the second left. This is marked with a
large University sign.
There is a building site on the
left
.
•
Passing Regeneron Pharmaceuticals on the right, go
straight through a security gate. The School of Public
Health is in the large, buff- colored building to your
immediate left (the "George Education Center") with an
obvious glass atrium entrance.
There is a small Visitors parking area in front of the building,
but often it is full. To reach other Visitors Parking, turn right
just past our building, and then right again to reach the
large lot (the lot is on the right behind some trees as you
enter past the security gate).

If there are no visitor spots available, either use street parking or proceed up

Street (street opposite the entrance to the Flanigan Square parking lot). Two blocks up you will
