PrimeShip-IPCA is a Windows OS-based software package that calculates water displacement, trim, stability, longitudinal strength and other performance factors of a vessel during the design stage. The software allows calculations at design stage to be carried out in line with class rules, helping reduce design lead times. The software
contains design software Design-IPCA and calculation sof tware for onboard loading computer sys tems Onboard-IPCA Calculation Engine, offering full support coverage during design and operation.
PrimeShip-NAPA Manager (Statutory Compliance Manager for NAPA system users) is a program offered free of charge that uses 3D vessel models created during the design stage using NAPA software to calculate stability, longitudinal strength and other factors based on class rules. The program can be used in conjunction with NAPA software to create drawings for plan approval to help reduce design lead times. NAPA software is required to use this program.
PrimeShip-CAD Interface is a program provided free of charge to link 2D/3D C AD sof t ware with CSR-based r ule calculation software. The program allows users to convert data from CAD and performance capability calculation software for use directly with other software to help prevent design errors. PrimeShip-CAD Interface can link data between various types of software.
PrimeShip-HULL is a free software package that contains programs for rule calculation and direct strength calculation based upon structural rules. The PrimeShip-HULL (HCSR), PrimeShip-HULL (Rules) and PrimeShip-HULL (DSA) programs allow designers to perform calculations and assessments based on IACS Common Structural Rules (CSR) and ClassNK Rules to help reduce design lead times. A dedicated homepage and online support desk are available to provide users with technical support and other assistance as needed. Note: Either Patran and MSC.Nastran (not included), or HyperWorks (not included) is needed to run PrimeShip-HULL (DSA).
PrimeShip-CTF for PSPC is a cloud-based suppor t tool provided free of charge to help create coating technical f iles. With this sof tware users can compile and manage logs and data for onboard CTFs via the internet in line with the IMO Per formance Standards for Protective Coatings.

PrimeShip-SHAF T is a program provided free of charge to help designer s comply with ClassNK’s Guidelines on Shafting Alignment and analyze shaft alignment based on the Guidelines. Using this software, designers can easily calculate alignment in line with ClassNK rules and guidance, as well as determine the optimal position for shaft bearings.
PrimeShip-CRANK is a fee-based service that offers strength evaluations of diesel engine crankshafts in line with ClassNK and IACS rules. Users can determine if a crank shaft meets strength requirements and receive a statement of compliance through this service.
PrimeShip-TORRES is a fee-based service that analyzes shaft torsional vibration in line with ClassNK and IACS rules. Users can evaluate torsional vibration at the design stage and receive analysis reports indicating any occuring torsional vibration stress and allowable values through this service.

PrimeShip-ETAS is fee-based vessel suppor t service offered by ClassNK to shipowners to provide assistance during accidents including but n ot l i m i t e d t o g r o u n d i n g , co l l i s i o n , a n d explosions, to help ensure the safety of vessels and to protect and limit any damage to the marine environment. ClassNK ETAS works in close communication with shipowners and salvagers during marine casualties offering advice to ensure salvage operations are carried out safely with as little impact to the environment as possible. The E TAS team is compr ised of experienced surveyors on hand 24/7 to provide emergency assistance.
PrimeShip-DG/Bulk Cargo is a fee-based software package that allows users to create lists of loadable cargoes (solid bulk cargoes and dangerous goods) based on the structure and facilities of vessels in line with SOLAS and the IMSBC Code. Users can easily identify which cargo types can be loaded on each type of vessel, helping expedite cargo planning. Users can also perform reverse searches to identify which type of vessel structures or facilities would be appropriate for carrying specific types of cargoes, and create a cargo vessel database to expedite cargo planning.

PrimeShip-HULLCare is a service that compiles and categorizes survey data collected from across ClassNK’s global service network to provide hull maintenance information for each vessel registered for the Enhanced Survey Program scheme. Users can verify the history of the hull condition for each of its vessels, and create an appropriate maintenance management plan. PrimeShip-HULLCare is an internet based service, which allows users access 24/7 from anywhere in the world. In addition, an optional fee-based service for 3D models is also available.
PrimeShip-CAP (Condition Assessment Program) is a fee-based service that allows users to assess and verify whether hull conditions meet or exceed class rules and international regulations. Users can obtain a 1 (highest) to 4 (lowest) grade of their hull condition based on onboard surveys, as well as receive comprehensive reports and certificates through this service. Hulls awarded condition levels of grade 2 and above rank very highly, verifying maintenance conditions are satisfactory, which is particularly useful for chartered vessels.
ClassNK’s Fleet Management Support is a program provided free of charge to help users manage their NK-classed vessels. This software works in conjunction with the classed vessel and ISM/ISPS online information service NK-SHIPS, allowing users to confirm the status of any required surveys, audits or certifications, to easily manage vessel maintenance.
PrimeShip-OAS is a fee-based fuel oil and stern tube lubricant analysis service. The service offers fuel oil analysis based on ISO and JIS standards, and lubricant analysis as par t of propeller shaft condition monitoring, allowing users to more effectively manage and maintain their vessels.
ClassNK CMAXS is fee-based cloud system offering users software and services to support onboard machinery maintenance and monitoring. The system uses data collected by sensors installed onboard vessels for the early detection of abnormalities and condition monitoring for machinery. Additionally, the system shows onboard machinery maintenance plans and allows users to input the results of maintenance work via a user-friendly interface. The data is stored on a cloud system, allowing all relevant users access to the information anytime from anywhere in the world.
ClassNK-PEERLESS is a fee-based software program that allows users to dramatically shorten the design process for installing ballast water management systems on existing vessels. Factors such as lack of engine room space and complicated piping make installing ballast water management systems on existing vessels a difficult process. ClassNK-PEERLESS uses data gathered from 3D laser scanners to create highly accurate 3D models, greatly simplifying the process to cut down on design lead times.

PrimeShip-GREEN/SRM is a web-based system offering support to the industry for the Ship Recycling Convention. The system is provided free of charge to shipbuilders and suppliers. PrimeShip-GREEN/SRM facilitates information exchange between shipbuilders, shipping companies and suppliers at the development and maintenance of Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM: list indicating quantity & location of hazardous materials on board) generating IHM automatically with minimum additional input, drastically reducing the burden on the industry.
PrimeShip-GREEN/MinPower is a program provided free of charge to help users assess the minimum propulsion power for bulk carriers, tankers or combination carriers in adverse weather conditions in accordance with IMO regulations. The software allows users to easily assess the minimum propulsion power taking into account factors such as added resistance in irregular waves, and automatically create graphs for class approval, helping to greatly reduce design lead times.
PrimeShip-GREEN/EEOI is a free software package that allows users to evaluate GHG (CO2)
emission levels during operation, enabling users to calculate and analyze their Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator (EEOI). The software gives users an understanding of the energy efficiency of a vessel during operation, allowing for operation-specific vessel analysis and management. PrimeShip-GREEN/ProSTA is a free program that
allows users to analyze ship speed correction at progressive speed trials taking into account factors such as wind, cur rent , wave, shallow water, displacement, water temper ature and water density in compliance with ISO 15016:2015. The software allows users to easily analyze the speed cor r ec tion at pr ogr essive speed tr ials , and automatically creates graphs for class approval, helping to greatly reduce design lead times.

NK-PASS is a free ser vice that allows shipyards, equipment manufacturers and designers to replace printed plans and drawings with electronic versions that can be submitted for class approval and returned electronically. Users can confirm the status of submitted drawings and approval results in real time via the internet, greatly reducing the time and costs associated with approval (such binding, postage, etc.), allowing users to manage their plans and drawings more efficiently. The optional NK-PASS EDI (Exchange Data Interface) service is a standard interface linked to customer’s own system that allows users to exchange electronic drawings between NK-PASS and the customer’s system.
NK-SHIPS is a free service provided to managers and owners of ClassNK registered vessels to manage information such as survey/audit/inspection statuses for each ship, periodic sur vey/audit/inspection items, and designated dates for sur veys/audits/ inspections via the internet. The ser vice allows users to easily manage and plan surveys/audits/inspections for each vessel or their entire fleet. A “Due Date Notice E-mail Service” is also available, sending users E-mail notification of Survey/Audit/Inspection due dates.
ClassNK Archive Center is a cloud-based 24/7 service for storing and accessing various vessel plans and other detailed information related to a vessel's construction over a vessel’s lifetime. The ClassNK Archive Center helps reduce administrative costs by allowing users to manage and view stored information via the internet, greatly enhancing the efficiency and practicality of ship management. The highly secure system protecting the data is also compliant with the IMO GBS "Ship Construction File" requirements expected to come into force in the near future, covering customers for the new regulations.
e-Product is a free service allowing users to apply for material and equipment surveys via the Internet. Users can view the status of their applications, and can easily send applications for a wide range of surveys using the application history copy function.
e-Application is a service provided free of charge allowing users to apply for class and statutory surveys, ISM/ISPS audits, and onboard MLC inspections for existing vessels as well as ISM audits for their company. The service allows users to automatically configure required surveys for each vessel or entire fleets as well as apply for surveys and audits online through ClassNK’s NK-SHIPS service. An NK-SHIPS user registration is required in order to use this service. Users can use NK-SHIPS immediately after registration.
