Political/Organizational Software
While running a campaign for political office I realized that there was a real need for software to help campaigns. While I was running I prepared as best I could software to help me with various aspects of the campaign. That software has been modified and made so that it is easier for campaigns to use. Its built on a relational database program Filemaker, which is available for both Macintosh and Windows.
This software allows you to maintain control over every aspect of your campaign. From managing Finances and printing reports, to mailing lists and lawn sign locations. It covers it all. If you find something it doesn’t cover let us know an we will make an update.
Software Covers
Bookkeeping - income and expense entering and reporting
Budget - both projected and actual. Keep track of where you are in your budget.
Campaign Workers - keep track of your campaign workers know at a glance who is doing what. Supporters - Keep track of your close supporters, send letters and other information via email or
regular mail.
Mailing Lists - Keep track of any number of lists of people from delegates to what ever. Prepare
and print or email letters to members of your lists.
Election Results - Examine election results from previous years spot trends before they confront
you head on.
Registered Voters - Target registered voters when you import information into your SOS voter
data base.
Campaign Meeting Notes - Keep notes on your campaign meetings, keep a handle on what is
going on.
Event Planning - Plan Events, Send out invitations, record who is coming and other information To Do List - Track what needs to be done when, who is doing it, and other information
SECURITY IN THE CAMPAIGN: This software is password protected and passwords can
be changed, added and deleted as necessary. The software is also compartmented so that only information that is necessary for that campaign workers job is available to them.
With this set of database programs you can make the most use of your computer for your campaign. Takes the drudgery out of the campaign and get doing what your supposed to do, run for office.
Requirements: Operates in Windows 98 or Macintosh OS 8.6 or better Operating Systems.

The Easy To Use Interface
You data base opens with an easy to use interface.
From this menu you, or those allowed with their password are able to access those portions of the data base that they need access to. This compartmentalizes your data and limits its access to only those who have the proper access.
From here you can access the Income & Expense Database, the No Donations List, Budget, Campaign Volunteers, Supporters, Lawn Sign Locations, Meeting Notes, Events Planning, Import a Voter Database, Examine Election results, and create as many other mailing lists as is necessary.
Bookkeeping
Keeping track of where your money is coming from and where it is going is always a chore. Making the reports is also a chore to many campaigns and organizations. Is there someone you don’t want to accept money from? All of this becomes a breeze with our software.
From the main menu you can input income or expenses from any source. You can also print reports for each of the various items as well. With a click you can make a backup copy of the file.
Individual Contribution Input
With a click of the green button you create a blank and empty record. Using the Tab key you go from field to field putting information as required into each. Have another donation to add, just click the green button again and your ready to input another donation.
Individual Contribution Reporting
When you need to make a contribution report you click the Income Report button and your computer will find all your income records and generate and print a report like the one below.
Political Contributions:
Generally lobbiests and other kinds of organizations need to be reported separately. This is not a problem with our software.
Just like the individual contribution form you tab through the various fields and type in the information.
When you need a report click the PCF Report button and a report like the one below will be printed showing only those who have contributed via the PCF method.
Expense Recording:
Recording and reporting expenses is always a major task, but not anymore. With our easy to use interface you simply click the enter expense button and then the new record and start to enter the data.
Expense Reporting:
Again usually another major task, but again not anymore. Just click the Expense Report Button and the computer will generate and print an expense report for you like the one below.
No Donations List
Have people you do not want to take contributions from? With our NoDonate section to the database when ever you enter the last name of someone in the No Donation list the enterer is notified.
With our software bookkeeping and reporting is a breeze.
Budget:
You have a budget for your organization and want to see if your on target. With our software you can enter information about what the expected costs and what the actual costs are with ease and determine if your over, under, or on budget.
Campaign Workers:
You can easily keep track of your campaign workers with our database. Email or send them letters, keep track of phone numbers and tasks they are responsible for.
Supporters Database
Keep track of your supporters, send them email and letters and let them know you appreciate their support.
Lawnsign Locations:
In most locals it is the responsibility of the campaign to remove lawnsigns. With our data base you can easily keep track of where your lawn signs are located at. It also allows you to view where you may be lacking in lawnsigns and need to get more out to.
Voter Database
With our software you can import registered voter data bases provided by the registering agency.
With this information at your fingertips you can target mailings and find other important information your campaign or organization can use.
Election Results Data Evaluation
Determining where your strong and where your weak in the area in which your running. But not anymore. Inputting data from previous elections will with a click give you information about where your likely to have your toughest and easiest times.
Mailing Lists
Obtaining mailing lists from other organizations or people? With our software you can import that data directly, send letters, even email to them with a click of the button. Support is built in for multiple databases, and imports from text or other types of data bases. Our Mailing List Manager is preset to handle 8 sets of mailing lists but more can be created if needed.
In addition to these features you also have
Event Planning
Send out invites, keep track of who is coming and how many with this unique feature. Our events manager allows you to track many events at the same time. It also allows you to create more should you need them.
Each event has its own list of information about each event. Send out invites and track other information with its easy to use interface.
There is also a To Do List function that allows you to track things that need to be done, when they are to be done, and who is doing them.
This software takes all the drudgery out of a campaign/organization and makes your campaign/organization function more effective by being able to focus on what you are really doing.
