EUR 99 (standard class) or EUR 159 (first class) for a return trip and is valid across Germany between April 9 and 19, 2016. For information on international connections, including prices, please use the contact information given below.

Baggage drop-off
You can drop your baggage off at bauma and it will be transported straight to the airport on your behalf. Head to the West Entrance for the Lufthansa check-in desk, which will be able to accept baggage for flights with the following airlines only: Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Scandinavian Airlines, Air Dolomiti, Luxair, Air Malta, TAP Portugal, Egyptair, Croatia Airlines, and Adria Airways. This service is free of charge and will be available between April 15 and 17, 2016.
Airport shuttle
Our shuttle bus service operates between the airport and bauma, running every 15 minutes and stopping outside the North Entrance of the trade fair center.
Travel time: Approx. 45 minutes.
If you need to get to one of the other entrances at bauma, you can catch the venue shuttle bus from the North Entrance.

You can get right to the door of bauma 2016 using the Munich public transport network (MVV) and you won’t have to waste time sitting in a traffic jam or looking for a parking space. If you want our advice, public transport is usually the quickest option, especially on the busiest days at the trade fair (Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16).
U-Bahn
The U2 U-Bahn (subway) line will take you straight to the stations “Messestadt West” and “Messestadt Ost.” The U2 line runs every three minutes during rush hour on every day of bauma.

S-Bahn
You can also use the S-Bahn (city train) to get to bauma. Take the S2 to “Riem” and then take the 190 bus to “Messestadt West”, or walk to the West Entrance of the trade fair center, which will take around 15 minutes. Alternatively, take the S4 to “Trudering” and then change to the U2 U-Bahn line in the direction of “Messestadt Ost”.

3. Pay for your day ticket using either cash or card.
Your MVV ticket to bauma
To make it as easy as possible for you to use public transport in the greater Munich area, we would recommend the following tickets:
Exhibitor season ticket
This special ticket for exhibitors costs EUR 34.20 and is valid for the duration of the period between April 10 and 17, 2016. It will allow you to travel on the entire MVV network, including to and from the airport. You can buy this weekly ticket from the exhibitor shop or ask one of our expert team members at the MVV ticket counters at the West Entrance, East Entrance or Outdoor Exhibition Area South Entrance.
Single day ticket for visitors
The day ticket is the best option for visitors to the trade fair. It costs EUR 12.40 and covers the use of public transport within the entire MVV network, including to and from the airport. You can buy this day ticket and all other MVV tickets from the ticket machines at the stations or ask one of our expert team members at the MVV ticket counters at the West Entrance, East Entrance or Outdoor Exhibition Area South Entrance.

Your MVV cell phone ticket
You can also buy all MVV tickets using the bauma app, which is linked to the MVV app and will be available from February 2016. Just pay by credit card or direct debit and your ticket will simply be saved straight to your cell phone.
Cab/taxi
If you are looking to take a cab for journeys between the airport, hotel, and trade fair center, then you won’t be more than a few paces away from a cab stand. At the airport, the cabs will be found out in front of the terminals. At the trade fair center, there are cab stands at each of the entrances (with the exception of the Outdoor Exhibition Area South Entrance) and in front of the ICM. You will see that these are marked on the plan of the grounds.

We have our own dedicated parking lots available for anyone attending bauma that chooses to drive to the event. You can then travel from there to the trade fair center on a free shuttle bus or using public transport.
Getting to the off-site parking lots
If you are arriving via the A94, A99 or A9 highways, you will see signs directing you to the parking lots mentioned here.
Feldkirchen parking lot
On all trade fair days – There are 2,200 parking spaces just off the A94 at Feldkirchen-Ost. Parking here is free.

On all trade fair days – Arrive on the A99, leaving the highway at the Aschheim-Ismaning exit. There are 2,500 parking spaces in Asch-heim and it is free to park here.

MOC parking lot
On Saturday, April 16, 2016 only – There are 1,200 underground parking spaces available at the MOC event center, where you can park your car for free and ensure it is protected from the weather. You can reach the MOC via the A9, taking the Munich-Freimann exit.

On Saturday/Sunday, April 16/17, 2016 only – This is perfect if you are arriving on the A8/A99 and take the Munich-Neuherberg exit. There are around 2,000 parking spaces and it is free to park here.To get to bauma: U2 line from the “Am Hart” station (travel time: 30 minutes)

Pitches for motor homes
On all trade fair days – There are special pitches available for motor homes during bauma 2016. These are located at the Reit-stadion Riem, and there is a free shuttle bus service available here too, running every day of the trade fair between 08:00 and 11:00 and between 17:00 and 19:00.

Of course, you also have the option of parking at Messe München. The parking lots are marked on the plan of the grounds on page 18. Please note that you will have to pay to park in some of these locations and all of the spaces may be full on busier days at bauma.

Traffic guidance system as alternative to GPS
A newly installed traffic guidance system will point you in the direction of bauma 2016 along all the main routes as you approach
the area surrounding the trade fair center. We would therefore
recommend that you switch your navigation system off just before you reach the venue and instead follow the updated signs to be shown the best way to the nearest available parking space.
