Our team of mental health experts have the experience & skill to establish rapport with children of all age groups. We deal with their emotional, scholastic, behavioral problems. We tackle the `too shy' ones and the `hyperactive' ones. For us, mentally subnormal kids and dyslexic students are special. It is seldom a smooth ride. The bumps are many; Exams, Competition, Career and changing relationships with friends, parents, teachers' etc. It can become too much at times. We at IPH give our ears to adolescents and talk to them, as they are adults. We respect their emotions and we support their parents. Who says, turmoils are prerogatives of only teenagers?

Jidnyasa highly successful Psycho-educational program for High school students. It was developed through a liaison with two other agencies, with the mission of spreading mental health awareness in early adolescents in schools. Jidnyasa's priority is to help adolescents, mainly schools with students from economically backward strata, free of charge, to overcome the crisis of this age through training in six modules viz.: Adolescence as a life-stage; Sex education; Value Education; Substance Abuse prevention; Career education; & Stress management. The demand for such a unique & effective program from schools of economically upper strata has forced Jidnyasa to spread their services to such establishments as well. Jidnyasa is now training voluntary teams in other districts to conduct Jidnyasa's six estimable modules.

Manovikas

started in year 2000, is a unique project with a focus on sensitizing the community about mental health issues, by helping people to monitor their emotions and behavior, and provide information vital for early detection of mental health problems. They make presentations FREE OF COST to schools / colonies / housing societies / offices / industries on request.
