KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Shilo Harris, Retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Shilo Harris enlisted in the U.S. Army after 9/11. On February 19,

2007, on his second deployment, Shilo was patrolling an infamous southern Iraqi roadway when his Humvee was struck by an IED, killing three of his soldiers and leaving him with catastrophic injuries that would change the course of his life. This fiery moment was just the beginning of an arduous road laced with pain, emotional anguish and much soul-searching. Through more than 75 surgeries and countless hard decisions, Shilo discovered that he was being reshaped—within and without—into the person he was meant to be

all along. His inspiring story will move you and motivate you to live boldly in the face of fear and pull you through the toughest of times no matter what. If you want to learn more about Shilo’s story, check out his book, “Steel Will” and visit his website at www.shiloharris.com.
