ANOINTING OF THE SICK
The Anointing of the Sick is not a sacrament for those only who are at the point of death. Hence, as soon as anyone of the faithful begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age, the fitting time for him to receive this sacrament has certainly already arrived. (CCC 1514)
If a person is in need of Anointing of the Sick, please call the parish office for a priest at 602-242-1300.
If the parish office is closed and there is an immediate danger of death, please call the after-hours emergency number at 602-246-3534. The after-hours number may only be used for life and death emergencies.

Cathedral Renovation Project
Did you know there are several feet of space behind the Tabernacle altar for an
air vent? During these renovations, we were able to relocate the air vent so we can move the Tabernacle closer to the back wall of the sanctuary. By moving the Tabernacle back, we’ve made more
space behind the main altar for concelebrating priests at special Masses,
like the Chrism Mass and ordinations.
Now there will be much more space for the 100+ priests in the sanctuary!

The New and Eternal Covenant Bible Study Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The New and Eternal Covenant is an 8-week Bible study program that takes Catholics on a guided tour of what is considered the “Holy of Holies” of biblical theology. Presented by Dr.
Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins, this study program draws out the meaning of the book of Hebrews in a simple way so Catholics can see, appreciate, and take hold of the riches
God has given them in the New Covenant.

There are many teams that perform home visits at St. Vincent de Paul to deliver food and address the needs of our clients. Thank you Vincentians. Sometimes when we show up, there is an unfurnished home and children sitting on the floor. This is where Barbie, Jim and son Andy Groft get involved.
Many times notes are left for the Groft’s asking for furniture needs on behalf of our clients.
Their tireless efforts in this mission provide a bed to sleep on or a table for meals and for a child to do their homework. Thank you to the Groft family for their important contributions.
Beds and tables and chairs are good donation items. If you have these items and would like to donate them to SSJ’s St. Vincent de Paul, you can leave a message at the office # 602 433-7613.

Hay muchos equipos que realizan visitas domiciliarias en San Vicente de Paúl para entregar alimentos y atender las necesidades de nuestros clientes. Gracias Vicentinos. A veces, cuando aparecemos, hay un hogar sin muebles y niños sentados en el suelo. Aquí es donde Barbie, Jim y su hijo Andy Groft se involucran.
Muchas veces quedan notas para los Groft's pidiendo necesidades de muebles en nombre de nuestros clientes. Proyecto de renovaciones de la catedral
¿Sabías que hay unos metros de espacio detrás del altar del Tabernáculo para un respiradero para
el aire? Durante estas renovaciones, vamos a reubicar el respiradero para poder mover el Tabernáculo más cerca
de la pared trasera del santuario. Al mover el Tabernáculo hacia atrás, habrá más espacio detrás del altar para sacerdotes concelebrantes en las Misas especiales como la Misa Crismal y las
ordenaciones. Ahora habrá más espacio en el santuario para los mas de
100 sacerdotes de nuestra diócesis!

La Legión de María tiene como fin la gloria de Dios por medio de la
santificación personal de sus propios miembros mediante la oración y la colaboración activa- bajo la dirección de la jerarquía-a
la obra de la Iglesia y de María.
Algunas de las obras que realizamos son entronizar los hogares a Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, nos reunimos una vez por semana a rezar el Santo Rosario y
el primer Sábado de cada mes él Rosario de los niños dedicado a
nuestra Señora de Fátima.
También sí alguna persona necesita podemos ir a sus hogares
a rezar el Rosario o novenas y en ocasiones regalamos manuales para aprender cómo rezar el Santo
Rosario entre otros artículos religiosos. Cualquier pregunta,
sugerencia o sí te gustaría ser miembro de la Legión de María por
