Which store needs my attention?
The Nedap Retail Analytics App is designed as a management tool at the local and (inter-) national level to remotely monitor the performance of single or multiple stores. Assigned managers can see the information of all stores in their area. With the information provided, you can take the right actions fast as you are notified much faster about possible performance improvements or security risks.
Numbers, trends & events
In each section, you can select the specific location or region you are looking for.
We mainly report numbers. The number which we show depends on the subject you are looking at. This varies from the total number of visitors to the number of stores with security issues. To add some relativity, we also report if this number is something to be happy about or reason for worry. And to add some history, we also report a trend line showing the last four weeks. At the bottom, we report the exceptions. We report the location in which there is an exceptional event and what needs to be solved.
Loss Prevention
Within the Loss Prevention section, we help you to reduce both internal and external theft by reporting on report alarm levels, suspicious staff behaviour and more. This gives you insight into which stores have the highest theft risks and how you can solve this.
We monitor behaviour of the employees and management. Are they working according protocol to ensure a secure environment? And if protocol is not obeyed, we report who disobeyed protocol. And if there has been an intruder alarm, we notify you who deactivated the alarm.
To ensure an anti-theft system which works in the most optimal way, we report the alarm level. If the alarm level is high, this is an indication that the theft risk is higher at that location.
Finally, you can also check whether all your hardware is working properly in the system status section.
Store monitoring
We help you to optimize your store processes in order to optimize sales and increase the efficiency of your stores. You can optimize your planning if you know at which time your footfall is the highest and if you know which staff level is optimal. And if you know which store is visited most, you know where your sales opportunity is the highest.
To monitor the sales opportunity in your stores and to know the conversion, we report the number of visitors. Besides this number, we also display the time those visitors stay on average in the store (dwell time) as this indicates your sales opportunity.
In order to convert the sales opportunity in an actual sale, you want the right amount of staff at the right time in the store. Therefore, we report on the staff level, the ratio between the worked hours by your employees and the number of visitors. We do not only report the staff level but also report the staff planning. Because if the peak time of your visiting traffic is at 4 pm, you also want the highest amount of employees in the store at the same time. Within this section, we also report if the systems are working as they should. This to make sure the data you are judging your stores on is legitimate.
Stock management
Using our RFID-based fast stocktaking solution, we can help you to optimize your inventory. By exactly knowing what is in your store and where it is in your store, you can reduce missed sales and optimize your replenishments and stock levels.
In the future, the stock management section will display the staff behaviour in relation to the stock take frequency. This section is currently under construction.

The detailed insight into the behaviour of staff members, customers and systems makes managing your international retail organization simpler as you know precisely what is going on in your stores. This enables you to address security and performance threats faster and more accurate.
