A. GENERAL RULES

LUISS has a Double Degree partnership with the Université Paris Dauphine in the field of

Management at Master level, hereinafter referred to as DD DAUPHINE.

Participating students will have the possibility to attend courses and take their respective exams both at LUISS and at the Université Paris Dauphine. If compliant with both universities’ rules and

(2)

conditions, as for credits envisaged, attendance, deadlines, academic integrity, etc., participating

students will receive two degrees, which will be issued according to each university’s procedures.

Selected students will spend abroad the 2nd year of their Master’s Degree in Management, major in International Management, a. y. 2016-17. During their mobility period, students will be enrolled in the Apprenticeship Track. As such, students will combine courses at the university with work in a private company. Apprenticeship is compulsory to obtain the Master’s Degree issued by Dauphine and, even though Dauphine will provide substantial support, students are the sole responsible to secure an apprenticeship position. Selection procedures are autonomously conducted by the private companies and both universities are not to be held responsible for failure to be hired for an apprenticeship. In such a case, selected students will be subsequently removed from the DD DAUPHINE and will spend their 2nd year of the Master’s Degree at LUISS, obtaining thus only the LUISS Master’s Degree in Management.

Students selected for the DD DAUPHINE will be registered at LUISS during their stay at the partner university. They will not be required to pay additional tuition fees to the partner university, but they will continue paying tuition fees to LUISS.

All expenses related to the participation in the program, notably transport, accommodation and food, administrative expenses, expenses associated with securing a visa, medical/health/accident insurance, books and personal expenses, will be borne by students.

Students attending the DD DAUPHINE are not allowed to request an official renounce of the registration in their LUISS career of converted grades of exams passed at the partner university during their mobility period.

B. COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS B.1. Compatibility with the International Student Exchange program

Eligible students are allowed to apply to the Call for applications for the DD DAUPHINE and the International Student Exchange program.

Students participating to both Calls who will be selected for the DD DAUPHINE must confirm their participation to the program within the established deadline as detailed in paragraph H. Acceptance.

If selected students confirm their participation to the DD DAUPHINE, they will be automatically excluded from the selection for the International Student Exchange program and will be removed from the candidates list.

If selected students do not confirm their participation to the DD DAUPHINE according to the rules explained in paragraph H. Acceptance, they will remain in the candidates list for the International Student Exchange program.

(3)

Students that completed an International Student Exchange program in the previous academic years are eligible to participate.

B.2. Compatibility with other Double Degree Programs

Eligible students are allowed to apply to the Call for applications for the DD DAUPHINE and the Double Degree Program with Nova.

Students applying for the DD DAUPHINE and the Double Degree Program with Nova Management will rank the programs according to their preferences at the moment of application.

Please note that this preference is completely binding and cannot be changed after the application has been correctly submitted.

Students will be selected for only one Double Degree program within their list of preferences and will be removed from the selection procedure of the other Double Degree program.

Students who are not selected for any Double Degree program can remain in the waiting list of both Double Degree programs. If they are recalled from the waiting list of any program (regardless of their preference) and they confirm their participation, they will be subsequently removed from the other waiting list.

Refusal or missing confirmation of the Double Degree program selection in compliance with the rules explained in paragraph H. Acceptance implies the official withdrawal from all the Double Degree programs for the a. y. 2016-17.
