My primary qualification covers statistical methods in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health. Par-ticularly, I’m interested in the multi-state modeling in re-gards to the health-economic evaluation.

Last 6 years I’m working in the diabetes research studying difference aspects of the disease from various perspec-tives.

Current position

in the Institute for Healht Services Research and Health Economics, at the German Diabetes Center of the Leibniz Association, Düsseldorf

Working on the German Diabetes model, a tool while be-ing adapted for the German context allows to estimate the effectiveness of various diabetes interventions. Also, studying diabetes complications and their pathways by analyzing cohort data, health insurance data, long sur-veys and data from secondary sources and the literature. • Managing the several research projects

• Delivering the estimation of the prevalence of diabetes worldwide on a country, regional and global level based on meta-analysis from available data sources obtained through a profound literature search

• Working on publication the IDF Diabetes Atlas in the production team

• Working on improving the methodologies of the estima-tions, presenting and defend the results on the scientific conferences

• Supporting and consulting other IDF projects in regards to the statistical analysis and study conduction

• Communicating with the IDF Atlas Community

• Developing the interactive map for the IDF website by using the software InstantAtlas.

• Translate and proofreading the IDF documents and statements from English to Russian.
