in england. He is the designer behind the first dualit product - a six-slice

toaster with a built-in timer (the first of its kind in 1952), which is a

cicognara, Mantova by romano seletti, who was an expert in international

business. since 1972 romano travelled extensively to the far east,

especially across china. He shared the road with luigi goglio and this new

venture allowed romano to become a true pioneer in the import of

products for home: accessories in bamboo, tableware and cloths – typical

chinese products of the era. the next generation of seletti family

(stefano and Miria) brought new energy to the business. stefano seletti,

aged 17 and still a student, started to accompany his father on his business

the founder of dulton is sasamoto Yasuaki. Mr. sasamoto was born in 1952.

He studied architecture in university of Japan and after graduating, he

moved to the us. later on he began designing small house accessories

and afterwards designed watches for a swiss watch company. finally, he

established ‘dultoN co., ltd.’ in Japan in 1989.

dulton has experienced and learnt that the most essential asset is you and

us - the customer. dulton mainly offers retro products produced primarily

in steel, ranging widely from watches, kitchen scales, sweeping hills and

lamps to bar chairs and cupboards.

despite the great versatility of the products, they all have a uniform style
