Waitemata District Health Board -JOB DESCRIPTION - Page 2 Purpose of the role : This role provides:
a) Businesses as usual (BAU) WFC information, reporting, education and technical/functional support to WFC users at Waitemata DHB;
b) Administrative and training support to the RiTA Team to assist with the achievement of Implementation Programme
milestones; and
c) WFC Team backup to complete weekly business critical pay run functions and associated data analysis.
KEY TASKS EXPECTED OUTCOMES
Help Desk Roles and Responsibilities - Maintain up to date expertise in the use,
operation and fundamentals of Kronos Workforce Central; and all associated Waitemata DHB policies/expectations.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of associated departmental roles and responsibilities (i.e. HR and SSC); to users/stakeholders with
comprehensive and accurate assistance.
- Respond to application software support requests (Help Desk) in a prompt, courteous and
knowledgeable manner.
- Monitor the use of the WFC solution and identify business groups requiring additional support. - Present a positive image of WFC in all interactions
with users and stakeholders.
New Employee Support - Identify and set-up WFC accounts for new WFC
users.
- Complete training of new employees to achieve user confidence and procedural compliance.
Post Implementation Support - Provide support to users as and when required.
- Identify users and/or groups requiring additional support; and in collaboration with other WFC team members, organise and provide an appropriate level of training to achieve user mastery.
Reportables and Feedback Roles and Responsibilities - Identify organisational WFC reporting or data analysis requirements.
- Design / generate reports or other analysis to meet organisational and/or user requirements. - Complete and distribute reports as agreed with
the Team Leader.
Applications Upgrades Participate in the testing and implementation of

Business Critical Pay Run Accountabilities: Maintain expert knowledge and user skillbase of key WFC application “Pay Period Close” processes as necessary to check, close and export weekly payroll files to the hA Staff Services Centre for processing. System Failure Escalation Roles and Responsibilities - Assist as and when required to mitigate and
resolve system failures adversely affecting software functionality and/or successful pay run processes.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
POSITION TITLE: Workforce Central BAU Support Administrator
Minimum Preferred
Qualification Diploma in adult education and/or Human Resource.
Healthcare experience with supporting qualifications.
Experience
Solid understanding of the interpretation and application of Employee Agreements / Contracts. Demonstrated computer application competencies.
Healthcare sector project experience.
Experience providing IT application support including prior experience in providing different types of “Tier 1” support (ie telephone, on-site, remote access) in a Support Centre role
Skills/Knowledge/Behaviour Consistent Demonstration of Organisational Values
