MAJOR CHANGE IMPLEMENTED IN 2019: The committee has removed the requirement for photographs being framed and have standardized to one size. This was based upon feedback from exhibitors who expressed a change was needed. The photos will be placed in plastic sleeves at the time of entry for display.

SECTION 4 – Special Contests

Premiums: $20.00 $15.00 $10.00

1 Broom Contest

Any type of broom can be used. Commercial or homemade. Contestants will dress

the broom. This can be done with scarves, hats, string, gloves, mops, vines, leaves,

sunglasses, clothes, etc; just to name a few. The broom must be free standing and no

taller than 6’ and no wider than 3’.

2 Tree Decorating Contest

2021 Theme - “Sports”

Use an artificial tree to decorate with your favorite Sports theme.

Maximum tree size Height - 6.5 feet

No extension cords provided if lights are used

A quart jar can be decorated on the inside or the outside. Use your imagination with paint,

decoupage, ribbon, jute, etc. It can be decorated on the top, inside and/or outside. A ring and top

must be on the jar. NOTHING electrical can be attached to the jar.

Refer to General Exhibit Rules for details as to entering the jar at the fair in July.
