America Needs Fatima has organized Rosary Rallies all across America at Noon, on Saturday, July 10th. Please join us with your family at our Grotto on Saturday, July 10th at Noon to pray, 1) for many blessings on America, 2) for America to return to the Christian principals and morals it was founded on, and 3) for the preservation of religious freedom world wide. If it rains or is too hot, the rosary rally will be moved to the church.

America Needs Fatima is a campaign of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property. It’s goal is to win the heart and soul of America for Mary by spreading Our Lady of Fatima’s message and promoting devotion to her Immaculate Heart.

Choirs at

St. Thomas More

With things slowly getting back to normal, the time has come to

begin preparations for

re-launching our choir program! While the choir will not be singing at Mass or rehearsing immediately, working

toward re-launching our choirs who haven’t sung together as a complete group in almost 15 months, will

take some time. Weekly choir rehearsals will be on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm, starting August 4th The choir will not begin singing again at Mass until September, as it will take several practices to get ready to sing together as a large group. The choir members will have the option

to sing at any Mass (Saturday 4:00 pm, Sundays 8:00 and 10:00 am). Existing choir members please e-mail me at my parish e-mail, dstegeman@sttm.org, to confirm

that you are returning!

Not already involved in Music Ministry at St. Thomas More? Now is a great time to join! After experiencing a pandemic that forced us to suspend gathering at Mass together, why not dedicate a couple hours a week to join

the music program? Even the existing choir members haven’t sung together in over a year, so now is a wonderful time to join! In a year where everything was turned upside down in what seemed to be the blink of an

eye, I ask that you prayerfully consider taking an active role in music ministry. No prior experience necessary! Come to sing, come for fellowship, come to pray, come to lead, or come to serve. Wherever you are in your faith

journey, our wonderful music ministry family will walk with you. Come join us, and grow with us, as servants of

Christ, and ministers of music at St. Thomas More Parish.

ALL PARISH VOLUNTEERS

New Child

Protection Platform

In July 2021 the archdiocese will be moving to SafeParish as the new platform for Child Protection

training and compliance. SafeParish is an organization that specializes in training and education

solutions for organizations world-wide. They have 20+ years of experience in providing child safe environment training programs. SafeParish will continue to work with our current background check provider – Selection.com. All training and background

information in your current VIRTUS account will be transferred to SafeParish. No new live training through

SafeParish will be required if you have completed live child protection training through VIRTUS. Ongoing

child protection training will still be required for all volunteers and employees and will consist of quarterly

interactive video-based training instead of monthly bulletins. As the archdiocese moves closer to the conversion date, additional information regarding your

new SafeParish account will be provided. If you have questions, please contact Linda Caskey, our parish’s Safe Environment Coordinator at lcaskey@sttm.org.

MISSIONARY

COOPERATION PLAN

According to the Archdiocesan Synod of 1971, every year between April and

October, each parish in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and across

the country, is strongly encouraged to host a speaker from a mission congregation, lay mission organization or mission

diocese, in support of the Missionary Cooperation Plan (MCP) of the U.S. Church.

On the weekend of July 10/11 we will have our annual Missionary Cooperation Plan Appeal as directed by the

Mission Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Our speaker this year will be Father Sherit Thomas, a priest of the Missionary Society of St. Thomas the Apostle. Father Thomas will be celebrating all the weekend Masses that weekend and be asking our help for the Missionary Work of

the Society of St. Thomas the Apostle.

Advertising Opportunit

We are in the process of updating our annual Guide Book & Directory for the church. This book will contain everything pertinent to our church: the various ministries, organizations, committees, activities, functions and events plus a complete directory of all members. This book is being provided and direct-mailed to each family at no cost to our church, and it is again being subsidized by local businesses that advertise. If you own or manage a business and would like to find out about advertising in our book, please call the Parish Office. Recent survey results by Guide Book Publishing show that 92.1% of families would rather patronize a Guide Book & Directory advertiser over a non-advertiser. It “will pay” to advertise in our new Guide Book & Directory.
