SECTION 1: Undergraduate Degree Program Core Curriculum
Academic Degree Program - Associate:Baccalaureate: BS in Finance
Number of Hours Required for Major (include all semester hours required to complete
the major, i.e. history 42 semester hours): 30
Is the Program an Interdisciplinary Program? If yes, click in the following box ☐ Step 1 - List Program’s Core Courses in Table 1. Core is defined as a set of
discipline-specific courses required for all students in the degree program. The core must constitute at least 50% of all coursework in the program. For example, if the program requires 30 total hours, then at least 15 hours must be discipline-specific courses in the core. Core courses must be individual courses, or grouped into “select one of these two courses” or “select two of these three courses”, but no other options. If program requires a track, core courses (discipline-specific) can be added to program core to calculate the 50% core program requirement.
Courses required to complete a track should be listed in the Section 2 tables. In this section do not include any general education courses (even if in the same discipline) or required courses outside the discipline. All general education and other required courses should be entered in Section 3. If an interdisciplinary Program, list all courses required to complete the major.

Does the major require students to select a track to complete requirements for the program? If so, please complete one table for each option. If the track requires discipline-specific courses, the total hours will be included in the count for core percentage and should be grouped and listed first. If not, ignore this section – go to
Section 3.
Step 2 (if applicable): Complete Table 2 listing courses required for a track (all students must take) in Part 1 and list other courses in Part 2 (would include courses where student can select number of hours from a list of courses or non-discipline courses.
