NEVER FORGET YOUR PASSWORD AGAIN

Ever lose a password? How about create a password that’s far too simple just so you can remember it? NeedMyPassword.com, a new Web site, launched March 2008, which promises to put an end to these security problems, brings together simplicity and security, by offering users a safe place to store confidential personal

information on just about anything, from passwords to credit cards.

“Identity theft now affects millions of people. I want to take

those little scraps of paper and yellow post-it notes with passwords scratched across them and protect them once and for all,” said Brian Pedone, the company’s founder and CEO. “A lot of people are storing their passwords in insecure places, and NeedMyPassword.com is so simple that it can help put an end to that sort of thing,” he noted.

Signing up is free and takes a little less than a minute. “People don’t need clunky software to store passwords anymore or insecure

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DATE: MARCH 5, 2008

CONTACT: BRIAN PEDONE TELEPHONE: (570) 242 - 6913 IDENTITY THEFT SOLUTIONS

NEW WEB SITE FIGHTS IDENTITY THEFT BY KEEPING PASSWORDS SAFE In 2007, Javelin Strategy and Research released the 2007 Identity Fraud Survey Report, which shows that identity theft is alive and well in the U.S., with 2007 claiming 8.4 million identity fraud

victims and fraud totaling $56.6 billion dollars. With numbers this high, it’s easy to understand the need to protect passwords and

personal information, but for many of us, “protecting” our passwords means making sure no one else sits down at our computer or praying no one looks under our mattress for our “secret” notepad.

Brian Pedone, the CEO and founder of NeedMyPassword.com, is trying to do his part to fight identity theft in a new way. Launched in March 2008, NeedMyPassword.com gives users a simple, safe, and

secure place to store confidential personal information on virtually anything. “It takes about a minute to create an account, and you can have the peace of mind of knowing your passwords are safe. The whole thing is really simple to use,” said Pedone, excited as he spoke of how NeedMyPassword.com could sharply cut down on theft.

According to a July 30, 2003 survey by Privacy & American Business, a shocking 33.4 million Americans were victims of identity theft since 1990, with about 12 percent declaring that someone stole or improperly obtained a paper or computer record with their personal information on it and used that to forge their identity.

NeedMyPassword.com is trying to make that 12 percent go down. - MORE -

“Everyone says, ‘identity theft won’t happen to me,’ but

NeedMyPassword.com is as much about having easy and secure access to confidential information when you’re on the road, on a business

trip, or on vacation as it is about stopping a would-be identity thief,” Pedone said, adding, “You don’t even need a computer,

either. You can connect to NeedMyPassword.com for free right from your cell phone, which makes it really useful for travelers.”

“When you log in, you may be surprised how simple the interface is, and that’s entirely by design,” said Pedone. “Software can get overly complex, and by cutting back on features, you actually build a stronger product in the end. That’s what we did with Need My Password.”

When he isn’t fighting identity theft and security breaches, Pedone can be found duking it out inside a boxing ring, where he

professionally instructs and teaches students how to box in

Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and where he earned himself the title, “Fists of Stone Pedone.” “I want to knock out identity theft, and NeedMyPassword.com is my fist,” he mused, chuckling quietly.

With identity theft criminals lurking in the offing,

NeedMyPassword.com brings a free, simple, and secure way for consumers to protect their personal information. For further information or to access the service, visit NeedMyPassword.com to sign up for a free account.

FOUNDER’S BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

FOUNDER’S NAME: BRIAN PEDONE

TITLE: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) Brian Pedone, the founder and CEO of NeedMyPassword.com, isn’t your

average CEO or your average

entrepreneur. Born in Manhattan in 1983 and raised in Queens, New York, he emigrated to the Poconos in

Pennsylvania at age 10, took up

boxing at age 13, and devoted himself to the sport, becoming the 2003

Pennsylvania Golden Gloves Central Champion and earning himself the title “Fists of Stone Pedone.”

Brian Pedone, as you might suspect, isn’t a stodgy, corporate executive or your stereotypical, nerdy

programmer but represents a new breed of entrepreneurs, a breed of “go-getters” and achievers who vow never to work for anyone else again and who plan to keep trying regardless of the challenges and problems they face.

Although he’s only 24, he already has some white hair. “It means I’m wise beyond my years,” he likes to joke. Perhaps it’s a sign of the stress of business, but as he reminds us, “It’s something I’ve noticed since I was about sixteen, so business might not be the culprit. Maybe it’s just the accomplice!”

He says one of his greatest dreams is to have the financial means to someday support his parents, and that, because of that dream, he poured all of his attention and his time into his grades and his studies, sacrificing parties and social outings in the process. “I’ve never really had a ‘full-time’ girlfriend just because I’ve always had my sights set on business,” Brian said, adding “I don’t have time to commit, but I keep my options open.”

Brian Pedone takes the energy he applies to boxing and directs it to business. He notes, “The best punches are down a straight line. I think people can apply that concept to business. Be direct, be focused, and make sure, when you strike, you make it count.”

COMPANY HISTORY AND CHRONOLOGY

INDUSTRY: IDENTITY THEFT PREVENTION AND PASSWORD STORAGE COMPANY: NEEDMYPASSWORD.COM, http://www.needmypassword.com/

Officially launched in March 2008, NeedMyPassword.com was created by Brian Pedone, its founder and CEO, when Pedone noticed that a lot of passwords were being stored in text files or on paper.

“It’s amazing how vulnerable some people really are,” said Pedone. “If the wrong someone gets his hands on a big list of all of your passwords, it could mean identity theft problems for years to come,” he added. NeedMyPassword.com is so secure that even the Web site’s own administrators can’t access the records of their customers

without deleting the entire account.

The company and its Web site were formed around a model of

simplicity and security, focusing more on getting rid of complex functions than on offering them. It’s 100 percent free of charge to sign up, and it takes less than sixty seconds.

Pedone hopes to see 50,000 new accounts by the end of 2008. Pedone, boasting about its functionality, noted, “The system can be accessed securely from a mobile phone or from just about anywhere in the

world, and that’s what makes it great for travelers, too.”

Pedone says that, in 2008, he wants to take aim at a middle-aged demographic, since they tend to have the greatest need for security and generally have a plentiful supply of passwords and codes.

NeedMyPassword.com provides a simple, secure, free, and easy way to store passwords and confidential information in a single place. For
