DOUBLING YOUR ACCOUNT IN 3 TRADES
The purpose of this model is to calculate if 1. it is possible to double your account in 3 trades and 2. How many lots you need to useDoubling your account in 3 trades is dependent on various factors
1. The leverage you are using 1/100, 1/200, 1/400 etc
2. The type of Account you use - Main, Mini and Micro - This also determines the currency sizes traded 10K, 100K, 1K. 3. Your risk return ratio - Never try to double your account risking more than your target
4. The % of your total money you are prepared to risk on the days trading 5. The value of a pip for the currency you are trading
6. The size of your account - if you account is too small doubling may not be possible.
These are the main input items on the calculation sheet.
In general
1. Micro accounts give better lot management
2. The higher the leverage the better you chances of doubling your trading account
3. The higher your risk return ratio the better. 1:2 is recommended (1 pip risked for 2 pips gained).
Using the model
1. Enter your trading variables into the model - In the dark Blue blocks only
2. The model will tell you whether it is possible to double your account within 3 trades and it will calculate the lots you need to trade 3. If you are getting a message the the lots exceed the maximum lots you can trade you will have to change one of the 5 variable above. 4. if you get a message that your goal is not achievable you will also have to change one of the 5 variables.
5. If you do not achieve 3 successful trades in a row use the "Next trades after Gains and losses" to calculate lots that you need to trade 6. The sheet is protected so that you can only enter information to the input sections - you can not change anything on the sheet itself.
