Inspection: It is, most generally, an organized examination or formal evaluation exercise in lines with some standard guidelines to determine the suitability / fitness of a commodity being involved in trading by way of measurements and tests. The Inspection process gives confidence to the end user of the commodity as well to the supplier. Testing: It is a verification process to find out the values of the different parameters involved to determine the quality of the commodity being traded or used by the different industries and the consumer worlds. Testing process gives the indication of the suitability of the commodity for usage or trading. Calibration: Inspectorate is specialized in calibration of Vertical or Horizontal shore tanks, adopting such techniques as Laser Distance and Angles Technology with precise accuracy. Laser technology enables the calibration of shore tanks without scaffolding, thereby avoiding additional cost and disruption.Tank Calibration
Whether you have newly constructed tanks and provers, our experienced field teams will meet or beat your scheduled calibration expectations. Key Capabilities • Providing reliable measurements and calculations for: • Vertical Cylindrical Storage Tanks • Horizontal Storage Tanks • Spherical Storage Tanks • Floating Roof Zones Approvals from Govt. Statutory Authority Key Benefits • Calibrating techniques used in accordance with the most current American Petroleum Institute (API), Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards (MPMS) and BIS standards and protocols; • Safety driven, quality workmanshipInspectorate India‐ Solutions for Tank Calibration
Vertical Cylindrical Storage Tanks ► Manual Strapping Method: (ISO 7507 Part –I or API MPMS 2.2A) ► Optical Reference Line Method by Laser Equipment: (ISO 7507 Part ‐II or API MPMS 2.2 B) ► Electro Optical Distance Ranging Method: (ISO 7507 Part‐ IV and Part‐V or API MPMS 2.2 D) Horizontal Storage Tanks ► Manual Physical Measurement Method: ( ISO 12917‐1, API 2551) ► Tilted Horizontal Storage Tank by Liquid Filling or Water Draw Method: ( API 2555) Spherical Storage Tanks ► Sphere and Spheroids Tank calibration: (API2552) Approvals from Govt. Statutory Authority(EODR) Electro‐Optical Distance Ranging Method
EODR Methodology ► Measurement of reference circumference by manual strapping method. ► Vertical measurement of tank shell by using electro‐optical distance ranging instrument. ► Bottom measurement by using horizontal auto level or laser level & leveling staff. ► Accurate measurement of positive, negative deadwoods, reference height & any other accessories that may affect on tank working height & tank volume. ► Calibration chart calculations & preparation of calibration chart. EODR Advantages ► More safe: The danger of falling from the ladders or Boson chair is eliminated.Vertical measurement of tank shell by using electro‐optical distance ranging instrument. ► Less Cumbersome: The method eliminates any movement of heavy equipment such as hoists, boson chairs or ladders.► More Economical: Less persons are required during conventional strapping & ORLM vis a vis EODR method. ► More Accurate: Cancels out human random errors caused due to fatigue, environmental influences, improper
