(EODR) Electro‐Optical Distance Ranging Method

EODR Methodology ► Measurement of reference circumference by manual strapping method. ► Vertical measurement of tank shell by using electro‐optical distance ranging instrument. ► Bottom measurement by using horizontal auto level or laser level & leveling  staff. ► Accurate measurement of positive, negative deadwoods, reference height & any other accessories that may  affect on tank working height & tank volume. ► Calibration chart calculations & preparation of calibration chart. EODR AdvantagesMore safe: The danger of falling from the ladders or Boson chair is eliminated.Vertical measurement of tank  shell by using electro‐optical distance ranging instrument. ► Less Cumbersome: The method eliminates any movement of heavy equipment such as hoists, boson chairs or  ladders.

More Economical: Less persons are required during conventional strapping & ORLM vis a vis EODR method.More Accurate: Cancels out human random errors caused due to fatigue, environmental influences, improper
