Students benefit from an interdisciplinary approach that incorporates business and technology education into the health curriculum. You’ll have a variety of choices that can lead to exceptionally marketable and highly paid careers, from nursing to health information management to medical case management and more.

DU has the only nursing program in West Michigan providing certification in the American Heart Association’s Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) program. This certification helps students who want to work in the ER, ICU or in a critical specialty care unit by teaching methods for handling patients who are experiencing serious medical emergencies.
