Threads survive because people post in them, which "bumps" them to the top of the board. When threads go over a certain number of posts, they can no longer be bumped. When a thread pushed down past the last slot on page 10, it is pruned automatically.

It's the 4chan life cycle. Lurk more.

I posted this in the old thread, but i guess this is the new one.

I have a PDF collection of over 10gigs! This includes magazines, books, and random diagrams in pdf form.

Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/v9ibmj8d3a91m67/Full_pdf.zip Directory link: http://pastebin.com/RyEvau4S

If the 9 gig download is to much i can make smaller packages by request! Hope people get some use of this.

10 gigs? Split that

Anon Wed 12 Mar 2014 15:53:34 No. 507781 Report

I've got around 14, but it's time to start cataloguing and splitting that up to account for what's commonly out there. IRC ? Group chat?

I've held courses in everything from folding froebel stars to works of Kamiya, and I've even had origami exhibist a couple of times and recieved enormous positive response.

(35)

Yet, I feel like a origami noob.

There will always be new things to learn in origami, new techniques to discover, new fields to conquer - often using a mere challenge as the motivator.

We have perfect examples of this regarding the Origami Masters-books where the folders involved evolved their models from intermediate to highly complex as a natural result of the challenge, and for the mere fun of it.

Now put away that shite your're grinding about. po/ has room for everyone.

Abhilash Sat 24 May 2014 11:30:14 No. 510305 Report

Exactly. I agree. I didn't mind anyone calling me noob because I always consider myself as an empty pot. My thirst of knowledge will never end. But the second comment hurt me much.

Hey friends, please. Someone is annoying others with filthy words that doesn't mean we also do the same. We can just ignore such posts. Please, I request you friends, stop it. Budhha has said that if you are talking dirt to me and I do not take those words, they remain with you and you take them- they hurt you, not me. Again, please friends, don't get

influenced by a filth speaking person and become one yourself. It is my request and advice.

Fuck! Mother of shits. C'mon guys

Bump...but the only reason I'm bumping is so this thread will come back and stay on track. If you guys wanna act like immature brats throwing curses around like a 10 year old, fine, but there are other places for that kinda shit in other threads than an origami book thread. The reason this thread is here is to share books and diagrams of beautiful art, and its sad that in itself art needs to be shared on the dl on a website, but because of greedy book magnates, it can't be so and we're resorted to this. So please, lets keep the focus on art, not immaturity.
