Background:Your situation in life (health, finances, relationships) is a net result of your karma as expressed by your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and actions. To improve any situation, you need to start from the inside out ("as above, so below").

Your body and mind operate on this simple principle. All that happens is by prior

agreement in order for you to learn your lessons and transcend your issues. This learning does not have to be long or painful... that is a choice we make by exercising our free

will. Healing can be instant and long lasting... if only the underlying issues are resolved AND released from the body-mind-emotions.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is such a release mechanism. It is a well tested process and proven to help people get past emotional blocks relatively quickly. EFT was popularized by Gary Craig and exists in many versions. This version was modified by Ellen Mogensen to be fully karmically responsible.

EFT is grounded in ancient principles of Energy. The basic premise of Energy Healing is that all physical, mental, and emotional problems both cause and result from disruptions to your energy field. Similar to Acupuncture, EFT unblocks the flow of energy by tapping on selected areas (points) on your body.

Goal: The purpose of this exercise is to release frozen emotions from your energy field which drive your beliefs and your actions. Past lives have left us all with deep seated

emotions and beliefs that our conscious mind might know does not serve us... but that we still cling to unconsciously. EFT helps us to release the resonancesfrom our system quickly so that we become free to make different choices. This version of EFT helps you to release unwanted NEGATIVE emotions.

1> You must admit that you do have a problem: Signs of disempowering unconscious beliefs at work (called psychological reversals in EFT terminology) that indicate the existence of frozen emotions include:

a> Beliefs you cannot let go of that you know are "illogical" given your current life experience (ie. beliefs more appropriate in past lives).

b> Beliefs you cannot let go of that you know are negative or false.

c> Beliefs you cannot let go of that you know are self defeating, self sabotaging, or self destructive and creating undesirable results.

d> Being unable to realize your goals no matter hard you try. e> Being unable to change a behavior no matter hard you try.

f> Being unable to change after putting a serious effort into doing empowering, positive affirmations to the contrary.

2> You must be honest with yourself and answer this question: "Do you really want to get free from your problems?" So often our problems become so deeply ingrained in us that they come to define us.

If you do not know who you would be without your problems, this process will not help you. If you know that you would be an empowered being without your problems, then you are ready to transform your life forever and for the better. Only clarity of intention built on a foundation of personal integrity is the key that will unlock the emotions that are frozen in your being, ready to be released.

3> Ask and you shall receive. You are a Divine spiritual being, a spark of God come to Earth to have a human experience. Inside yourself, you have and know everything you need to. All you need to do is become who you already are.

4> Listen and be open to what you will learn. If your life on Earth is perfect, then there is nothing more for you to do. Enjoy and do not waste another moment fixing what is not broken. If your life on Earth is less than great, then be open to the help that is about to be given to you through this exercise.

5> Being comfortable is essential. Do this exercise in a quiet place where you will be undisturbed for the entire session. This should last at least an hour.

6> Learn the EFT Finger Position: Here is how to position your fingers:

TAPPING FINGERS: Use the index finger and the middle finger on one hand (either one) to tap on each of the points. During a treatment, you should tap 12 times on each one (do not get distracted by doing a precise count or worrying about doing it perfectly). Do not pound hard on the spots, just tap them gently.

7> Learn the PRIMARY EFT Points: Here are the primary EFT points. These are the points that will be used most of the time in EFT work.

finger and put the fingertip at the top of the belly button. Spread your middle finger and index finger apart. Press around that area until you find the sore area at the karma point.

This is not a traditional EFT point. It has been added to increase the effectiveness of this technique. Part of why EFT can fail is where it tells you things are "not your fault". That is directly contrary to the law of karma which teaches that you are totally responsible for every aspect of your life. Beginning with the acknowledgment that you alone are the creator of your universe empowers you... and increases your body and mind's ability to process the very changes to your beingness that you are seeking.

SORE SPOT Point (SS): ('Torso Points' above) For purposes of locating the Sore Spot, use your index finger to find the middle of your collarbone. Go straight down a few inches and keep pressing until you find where you are naturally a little sore. You might have to press deeply to find it (remember the goal is to release pain... not to inflict more on yourself by pressing too hard on the Sore Spot).

KARATE CHOP Point (KC): ('Hand Points' above) is located on the bottom edge of your hand. Tap this point with all of the fingers of your other hand palm open (tapping it with more than two fingers).

INSIDE THE EYEBROW Point (IE): ('Head Points' above) Go between your eyebrows and then move to the right or left (whichever way is the most comfortable for you). This "inside eyebrow" spot is located just at the beginning of your eyebrow.

People who are more "logical" or left brained might want to tap on the right side to open it up. People who are more "intuitive" or right brained might want to tap on the left side to open it up. Either side of the body will work.

OUTSIDE THE EYEBROW Point (OE): ('Head Points' above)Opposite from the inside spot is the spot on the outside of the eyebrow. Once you have selected the inside eyebrow spot, go to the same side on the outside of the eyebrow. So if you have selected the inside eyebrow point for the right eye stay on the right side.

UNDER THE EYE Point (UE): ('Head Points' above) This spot is located under the eye in line with the pupil of the eye and on the spot where the cheekbone begins.

UNDER THE NOSE Point (UN): ('Head Points' above) This spot is located between your nose and upper lip in that small indentation on your upper lip under the nose.

OVER THE CHIN Point (OC): ('Head Points' above) This spot is located between your mouth and chin in that small indentation under the lower lip and above the mound of the chin. UNDER THE COLLARBONE Point (CP): ('Torso Points' above) Find the end of the collarbone on each side. Using your thumb and index finger, you will find two bumps, one on either side of your body, just below the middle of your neck. Now on the side that you

selected earlier (either right or left), go down about an inch below the end of the collarbone to find the collarbone point.

UNDER THE ARM Point (UA): ('Torso Points' above) You will have to lift your arm for this one. It is approximately 3 to 4 inches below your armpit. Put your hand under your arm and where your hand ends, this point begins (women: it is where your bra goes around under your arm; men, it is above the undershirt armhole).

8> Learn the SECONDARY EFT Points: Here are these other EFT points. The hand points should also be used where the problems that you are seeking to release have been long

standing and deep seated.

THUMB Point: ('Hand Points' above) is located on the outside edge of of the nail of your thumb.

INDEX FINGER Point: ('Hand Points' above) is located on the outside edge of the nail of your index finger.

MIDDLE FINGER Point: ('Hand Points' above) is located on the outside edge of the nail of your middle finger.

PINKY FINGER Point: ('Hand Points' above) is located on the outside edge of the nail of your pinky finger.

GAMUT Point: ('Hand Points' above) is located on the back of your hand between the pinky and the next finger half way between the end of your fingers and wrist. It is used as a "Brain Balancer" (below).

9> Select the PROBLEM or ISSUE to be resolved: Most people have a clear idea of what their issues are. When starting with the EFT process, select the biggest problem that you have. Lots of smaller problems hang off the bigger problem. Once it is dealt with, the other related problems may simply fall away. This EFT process works with any kind of physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual issue.

How to Do This Exercise:

1> Take some deep, refreshing breaths until you are totally comfortable in whatever position you have chosen (it should take you no more than 3 minutes).

Since most people who are interested in exploring their karma are also loaded with

disempowering attitudes about money, we will use that as an illustration how this Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) works using the phrase: "I am a failure with money". For people may consciously believe they deserve to succeed with money but may be blocking

themselves unconsciously because they have deep beliefs of deserving to fail in manifesting the money they desire.

2> Close your eyes and thinking about the problem you want to resolve, in this case, "I am a failure with money". Say that statement aloud until you can bring up the feelings and

emotions that you want to release. Think of yourself as always "failing with money" until you have a clear picture of the problem in your mind.

Rate the intensity of your emotions on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 as feeling nothing and 10 as feeling the emotions with the greatest intensity. The good news is that the more intensely you are feeling the emotions, the faster you will be able to release them.

3> Begin with the KARMA Point. At a moderate pace, tap firmly at least 12 times on this point with your index and middle finger while saying "Even though I have created my karma and (I am a failure with money), I deeply and completely love and accept myself." You would fill in the parentheses () with your problem. Also, if it feels right you might want to add "and I forgive myself" or "and I forgive my parents or others" who you feel have contributed to your issue.

4> Be open to letting spirit guide you. If you feel that it is not time to move on from working this point, repeat your statement while continuing to tap. Usually you should only need to repeat the phrase 3 or 4 times while tapping on the point with your index and middle finger before moving on to the next one.

5> Continue with either the SORE SPOT or KARATE CHOP Point by tappingon this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

6> If you want to do both, start with the KARATE CHOP Point and then move onto

the SORE SPOT Point. If in doubt as to which one to choose, then we recommend doing the KARATE CHOP Point simply because it is easier to find and there no pain associated with it like unlike the SORE SPOT.

7> Continue with the INSIDE THE EYEBROW Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

8> Continue with the OUTSIDE THE EYEBROW Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

9> Continue with the UNDER THE EYE Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and

completely love and accept myself."

10> Continue with the UNDER THE NOSE Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and

completely love and accept myself."

11> Continue with the OVER THE CHIN Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and

completely love and accept myself."

12> Continue with the UNDER THE COLLARBONE Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

13> Continue with the UNDER THE ARM Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and

completely love and accept myself."

14> Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Think about your problem (I am a failure with money). Rate the intensity of your emotions at this point on the scale of 0 to 10, with 0 as feeling nothing and 10 as feeling the emotions with the greatest intensity. At this point, the emotions should be felt with less intensity that they were before you started this process. If the intensity of the emotion is still strong or if the issue is long standing and/or deep seated, continue on with the other EFT points.

15> Continue with the THUMB Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

16> Continue with the INDEX FINGER Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and

completely love and accept myself."

17> Continue with the MIDDLE FINGER Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and

completely love and accept myself."

18> Continue with the PINKY FINGER Point by tapping on this point 12 times firmly at a moderate pace while saying "Even though (I am a failure with money), I deeply and

completely love and accept myself."

19> Again, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Think about your problem (I am a failure with money). Rate the intensity of your emotions at this point on the scale of 0 to 10, with 0 as feeling nothing and 10 as feeling the emotions with the greatest intensity. The emotions should be less than before. If the intensity of the emotion is still strong or if the issue is long standing and/or deep seated, repeat the entire process again, starting with the SORE

SPOT or KARATE CHOP Point.

20> The KARMA Point should only be done once in the beginning for each issue. For karma to be released, you just need to acknowledge that you have created it... once that is done, focus on releasing the energy through the other points.

21> Quite often, dealing with one issue will surface other issues. Just continue working on them one at a time as they come up. The goal is to release the "trapped" energy from your field so that you no longer continue to experience the intensity of emotions that keep your issues alive... and therefore unresolved.

To summarize, you would continue in the same pattern:

a> Tap 12 times on the SORE SPOT or KARATE CHOP Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

b> Tap 12 times on the INSIDE THE EYEBROW Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

c> Tap 12 times on the OUTSIDE THE EYEBROW Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

d> Tap 12 times on the UNDER THE EYE Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

e> Tap 12 times on the UNDER THE NOSE Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

f> Tap 12 times on the OVER THE CHIN Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

g> Tap 12 times on the UNDER THE COLLARBONE Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

h> Tap 12 times on the UNDER THE ARM Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

i> Tap 12 times on the THUMB Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

j> Tap 12 times on the INDEX FINGER Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

k> Tap 12 times on the MIDDLE FINGER Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

l> Tap 12 times on the PINKY FINGER Point as you say "Even though (fill in the blank), I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

22> Once you are done, you may want to end it with the BRAIN BALANCING exercise. Tap on the GAMUT point as you do the following rapidly:

1> Close your eyes. 2> Open your eyes. 3> Look hard right down. 4> Look hard left down.

5> Make a counterclockwise circle with your eyes.

6> Make a clockwise circle with your eyes (the opposite direction).

7> Look straight ahead while you hum a few bars of a familiar song (one that is easily remembered and sung like "Happy Birthday).

8> Count quickly to five 1 2 3 4 5.

9> Hum a few more bars of your familiar song.

Example: Each person's experience of EFT will be unique. EFT ONLY works if you are willing to face your issues head on, to accept responsibility - karmically - for your current situation, and to be willing to learn your lessons by letting go of your problems. EFT has a less than total success rate... because unless you have learned the lesson associated with the block, your body simply will not be able to release it. If you are not achieving results with EFT, wait a month and try again.

EFT works with the wisdom of your own body so it is safe for you to do on your own. However, it is more effective to have someone else (either a practitioner or a friend) guide you through the process both to make sure that you are working the points correctly and so

that you can concentrate on doing the real work of experiencing and releasing the emotions... instead of worrying about the process.
