CHECK YOU PORTALS!!!
●
Some programs are being canceled due to COVID-19, but
double check your school’s status and call if you need to
●
Typically this is if you are low on any of these areas:
○
high school grade point average,
completed coursework, and scores on
several standardized tests, including
the SAT, ACT, CAASPP/EAP, and
advanced placement examinations
●
This has been a requirement in the past in order
for you to stay enrolled at your campus
●
Early Start saves you money during the school
year as you are taking remedial courses in order
to take the college level courses in the fall
Orientations, Placement Tests, Etc.
❖
Regardless what school you are attending in the fall,
most if not all, campuses have some sort of
orientation and placement tests
❖
Be sure to keep up with those in order to register for
classes
❖
DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO DO THIS!
CLASSES WILL FILL UP AND YOU WILL NOT GET
WHAT YOU NEED THE LONGER YOU WAIT,
➢
Make sure you triple check the time you’re
supposed to sign up for classes and give
If possible...
Look for a job that will help keep
you busy, focused, and saving
money for the fall
***NOW is the time to start looking
for your work study job for when
you start school--less students are
applying right now= you will have
more of a chance to get one
