About CHRE

Highly Keen - The HR Institute offers for the first time in Pakistan an exam based HR certification with the name of “Certified Human Resources Expert”. The certification is a benchmark of HRCI, USA which is being offered in the corporate context of Pakistan. This certification will recognize HR professionals as the expert of their field and make them more marketable when they compete for various HR positions. The Philosophy of CHRE revolves around Experience, Education, and Exam which eventually turns an HR Professional into an Expert.

The “Certified Human Resources Expert “exam is divided into TEN major areas:

 Job Analysis and Job Descriptions (10%)  Recruitment & Selection (15%)

 Training and Development (15%)  Performance Management (15%)  Compensation & Benefits (10%)

 HR Policies and Pakistan’s Labor Laws (10%)  HRIS/HRMS (e-HR) (5%)

 Strategic Human Resource Management (5%)  Change Management (10%)

Minimum 1 year of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Master’s degree (equivalent to 18 years)

Minimum 2 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Masters’s degree; (equivalent to 16 years)

Minimum 2 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Bachelors degree; (equivalent to 16 years) Hon’s

Minimum 4 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Bachelors degree; (equivalent to 14 years)

How Exams are Developed

Highly Keen – The HR Institute develops the exam from various HR learning resources but not from any one particular book or website and then validates it through practicing HR professionals by discussing them in context of practicality.

Each exam has different versions, which means that the person sitting next to another candidate at the exam center is probably taking a different exam.

The exam questions are 200 Multiple Choice questions based on different concepts, scenarios, and small cases.

Exams are conducted three times during a year (April, August & December).

We accept applications for our certification exams thrice a year for three exams testing periods. Apply before announced deadlines to make sure that your registration is confirmed.

Our exams are administered thrice a year at the premises of Highly Keen – The HR Institute in Lahore or at any board room of prestigious five star hotel of Pakistan. Exam Venue is

announced 10 Days prior to exam for the applying candidates.

Testing center fill up quickly so apply for your exam as early as possible after the

announcement of exam’s date. Candidate of exam must register his/her self before three months of exam date and then take next three months for exam preparation.

 80% fee is refundable, in case if candidate withdraw from the exam before 45 days.

 If candidate did not pass the exam due to any reason in first attempt, then they can

appear free of charges for second attempt after four months.

 The Results will be announced on 30th December, 2012 at the website of Highly Keen. The

certificates will be couriered to qualifying candidates after a week of result announcement.

How to Apply for CHRE

Application Guidelines:

Step – 1: Fill the Application Form (Given at end); Attach with it a Copy of CNIC, Copies of Experience Letters, Copies of Degrees attended, and Two Recent Passport Size Photographs.

Step – 2: Courier the Documents along with a Payment Proof to Highly Keen Office: 1st Floor, 194/1, Y – Block, Commercial

Area, DHA, Phase – III, Lahore, Pakistan.

Payment Guidelines:

Candidates can deposit their fee for CHRE via 3 Different Options:

Option – 1: Make a Crossed Cheque / Pay order in favor of ‘Highly Keen’ and Courier it along with the Application Form at Highly Keen Office (Lahore).

Option – 2: Deposit the fee in Highly Keen’s Bank Account via Online Bank Deposit and courier a copy of deposit slip along with the application form at Highly Keen Office (Lahore).
