Tubing hanger is an assembly used in the oil or gas production wells. Tubing hanger is set in the tubing head and suspends the

production tubing,tubing hanger often own through ports to allow the communication ofhydraulic,electric and other downhole control functions, as well as chemical injection. Tubing hanger also serves to seal-in the annulus and production areas.

CCSC can supply many types of the tubing hangers and we can also design it as per the special requirement of the user.

Tubing head adapter is often used on the top of the tubing head, it can provides a connection between tubing head and Christmas

tree. The bottom flange of the adapter matches the tubing head, and the top flange of the adapter matches the X-MAS tree. Tubing head adapters are available for all types of single and multi-string completions, including those using ESP penetrator, packers, down hole control valves and gas lift valves.

Double Packoff Flange - “DSPF” Packoff Flange

Double Packoff Flange - “DSPF” Packoff Flangeis often used in the oilfield when drilling, The double packoff flange provides double"

P" seal for sealing the casing.

The double packoff flange also used as an intermediate crossover flange when a restricted area ring gasket is used in the smaller diameter top groove. When a crossover is used, the top connection can be exposed to a higher pressure than the original rated working pressure. The double molded elastomer P seals are energized by injected the high pressure grease.

BX and 6BX flange

BX and 6BX flanges (welding neck flanges, blind flanges, target flanges) provided by CCSC are field proven flanges which strictly designed and manufactured according to API 6A and API Spec Q1 forged or casted.

All kind of flanges are delimited by API 6A as below:

Welding neck flange is the flange with a neck on the side opposite the sealing face prepared with a bevel to weld to corresponding

pipe or transition pieces.

Threaded flange is the flange having a sealing face on one side and a female thread on the other for the purpose of joining flanged

connections to threaded connections.

Blind flange is the flange with no centre bore, used to close off completely a flanged end or outlet connection.

Target flange is a special configuration of blind flange used downstream, facing upstream, to cushion and reduce the erosive affect of

6B flanges are of the ring joint type and are not designed for face-to-face make-up. The connection make-up bolting force reacts on the

metallic ring gasket.

6BX flanges are of the ring joint type and designed with a raised face. Depending on the tolerances, the connection make-up bolting

force may react on the raised face of the flange when the gasket has been properly seated. This support prevents damage to the flange or gasket from excessive bolt torque.

Bell Nipple - Bell Nipple Flange

Bell Nipple Flange is usually used on conventional land drilling rig and connected with the top of the blowout preventer (BOP stack).

Bell nipple flange usually does not hold well pressure, but acts as a fastening equipment to connect a vertical pipe, we name this vertical pipe as bell nipple, The top end of the bell nipple usually is flared, or belled, to guide drill tools into the hole and usually has side connections for the fill line and mud return line.

A short length of pipe (a nipple) installed on top of the blowout preventer or marine riser with a side outlet to direct the drilling fluid returns to the shale shaker or pit.

Diverter system - offshore diverter

Diverter system is the equipment often used in the offshore oilfield on platforms and jackup rigs to protect against shallow gas kicks

during drilling operations. Diverter system is mostly to control the direction of drilling fluid from wellhead to surface platform, control the well kick and shallow gas kick.

In the event of a shallow gas kick, the diverter is energized to seal around the drill pipe and divert the gas safely overboard. Diverter system must be equipped with hydraulic control system during operation. And it can seal different size of drill pipe.

Surface Well Testing

Surface Test Tree - Flowhead

Flowhead - surface test tree consists of four gate valves: a master valve, two wing valves, and a swab valve. The outlet wing valve is

opened and closed using an hydraulic actuator. Above the swab valve is a lifting subassembly (sub) with a threaded connection. The threaded connection is often called a quick union. The quick union is used to connect auxiliary pressure equipment which is needed if tools are to be run downhole. Some flowheads have a protection frame bolted to the main block to prevent damage to the valves during handling. Beneath the optional swivel are the master valve assembly and the bottom sub. In order to raise and lower a drill stem test (DST) string, elevators (clamps) are attached to the flowhead.

Basic to the operation of the flowhead is the opening and closing of valves in a particular sequence or order depending on what operation needs to be done. The following list describes several common operations and provides figures that show the typical status of the valves for these operations. The valve settings may change depending on whether other operations must be performed

The handling sub also provides an interface to the surface wireline or coiled tubing equipment. A dynamic swivel is located between the main valve block and the lower master valve, allowing rotation of the string without rotating the flowhead, and preventing any rig movement from transferring torque into the riser or landing string.

Swivel

The flowhead swivel is inserted between the master valve and the main valve block. It allows the subsurface equipment to be rotated with respect to the main flowhead block. Using a swivel, it is possible to rotate the subsurface equipment without disconnecting the flow line or the kill line. An example of this is using the swivel to set the drill stem test (DST) packer downhole. Another example is to re-latch the subsurface connection used with floating rigs.

The swivel is designed to allow rotation of the subsurface string while supporting the weight of the whole subsurface string. Roller bearings are used to support the significant weight of the test string and the downhole tools. Ball bearings are used to support the lighter weight of the flowhead and the equipment above the flowhead.

The swivel should not be rotated under pressure which means that it is not designed to hold the pressure when submitted to a continuous rotating movement like in drilling operations. The most common applications (as mentioned earlier) are done with the

pressure close or equal to zero at a very low rotating speed . During a well test, the pressure can be close to the swivel working pressure but the swivel either does not move (onshore) or oscillates a little due to the heave (offshore).

Hydraulic Surface Safety Valve - SSV

Hydraulic Surface Safety Valve - SSV is designed to quick closure due to a pipe leak or burst, equipment malfunction, fire, or similar

emergency.The Surface safety valve (ssv) is normally closed,pressure needs to be applied to the actuator to compress the spring and open the valve.

Hydraulic Surface Safety Valve feature:

 2. Optional fire protection (fusible loop).

The pressure needed to keep the valve open can be provided with a simple hand pump which, in an emergency, is bled off on the rig floor. However, a more sophisticated system called an emergency shut down (ESD) is recommended because it allows the actuator to be activated remotely.

Emergency shutdown system - ESD Control Panel

Emergency shutdown system - ESD Control Panel is designed for quick closure due to a pipe leak or burst, fire, or some other

similar emergency, the ESD system allows a safety valve to be closed from remote stations or from the console. In well testing operations, the ESD controls the flow line valve on the flowhead and the surface safety valve which is located upstream of the choke manifold and the sub-surface safety valve.

ESD system consists of ESD control panel with air-driven hydraulic pump, hydraulic tank, air hoses, and hydraulic hoses, ESD remote stations,High- and low-pressure pilots, and the storage reels for hoses.

Choke Manifold - Well Testing Choke Manifold

Choke manifold is a system of valves and chokes for controlling the flow from the well usually has two flow paths, one adjustable

choke used primarily for cleaning the well up and facilities to install and change choke of fixed sizes for a more accurate flow control during main well flow periods.

Each flow path has two closing gate valves which are used to direct the flow through either of the chokes or the chokes or the bypass and to provide isolation from pressure when changing the fixed choke. A dual isolation, double block and bleed valve arrangement is recommended for high pressure, sour gas and sand frac clean ups.

Choke manifold is used during well testing,. The positive choke has a fixed diameter and the size of the orifice on the adjustable choke

can be varied. In addition the adjustable choke allows fixed chokes to be switched out as needed without stopping the well, increasing the flexibility of the overall system.

Choke Manifold has these principle functions:

 • It allows wellhead pressure to be controlled, improving safety.

 • It maintains a certain flow rate, as required for testing. A test can require different flow rates over several time periods, requiring the use of different choke sizes.

 • It prevents formation sand from entering the well by limiting the flow rate. Limiting the flow rate reduces the speed of the fluid, which in turn, minimizes the amount of sand entering the well.

 • It also prevents water and gas coning by limiting the flow rate.

 • It is also used to ensure that the flow is critical, meaning that the pressure fluctuations downstream of the choke manifold do not affect downhole pressure and flow rate of the well.

Choke bean is often used in the positive choke valve for controlling the flow, our positive choke beans are similar as Cameron type H2

big john, Body Material: 410SS, lined with Tungsten Carbide or ceramic.

On one side of the choke manifold, calibrated choke beans are used to control flow rate through the fixed choke box. Each bean is a specific diameter, usually in graduations of 1/64-inch, and is screwed into the choke box. These are the most common sizes (in inches) of choke beans used: 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8, 1, 1-1/4, and 1-1/2. Depending on the type of equipment used, the size of the choke bean can be as large as 3 inches.

Cage and sleeve choke is often used for control flow in severe condition instead of triditional needle and seat choke, the cage and

sleeve choke is designed and manufactured in accordance with API 6A and API 16C standard, the cage and sleeve are completely made by Tungsten Carbide alloy, and the size is adjustable by increment of 1/64".
