Introduction
Client File Plus is an automated storage system that stores information regarding company and customer preferences in the Galileo system, rather than storing it in paper files. The stored information can then be referred to quickly and easily as required or transferred into a Booking File when making a customer’s reservation, saving both time and effort and ensuring accuracy.
Client File information may be accessed and utilised by the agency that created it, and by associated branch offices linked by group coding or through Selective Access.
With this brochure we provide you with the formats, which have been developed to support Client File Plus with Focalpoint, Relay and Viewpoint.
What is a Client File
Clients File allows you to store various information for your customer in the Galileo system, such as for example: its name, its telephone numbers, its credit cards, its frequent flyer membership data, its seat preferences, etc...
As soon as the data is stored in a file, it will be at the disposal of the agency.
At the time of a new reservation, the concerned client file can be called so that all of the passenger’s data are added automatically to the booking file.
Client File hierarchy
Client File Plus is organized in three levels:

Client File transfer
A multiple move moves all “Y” lines from the specified or displayed level of the
Client File, plus lines from the level(s) above.
A single move input, only moves lines from the level of the specified Client File,
plus the agency phone number from the Agency File
A selected move input, only moves lines of the Client File which are specified in
the input. In this situation all “Y”, “O”, and “R” lines are considered as optional lines, and only those which are specified in the input, are moved into the Booking File.
A related move input moves only the “R” lines in of the Personal Client Files.
A name must be stored in the Booking File before moving “R” lines.

Transitional Client Files
Business or Personal Client Files that have not been displayed or moved for a period of between 6 and 13 months are known as Transitional Client Files.
Once a Transitional Client File is 14 months old it will be purged from the Galileo system on the last Sunday of the month. It is not possible to reinstate a purged Client File.
If a Transitional Client File is displayed or moved during the 14 month period it will not be purged.
A Transitional Business File may only be purged from the system provided all attached Personal Files have also been transitional for a period of 13 months.
