1) FIDI-FAIM certification result
This section provides you with the global result of your company’s FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure. This can be:
FIDI-FAIM
Certified Your company fully complies with the FIDI-FAIM standards. You will soon receive your certificate from FIDI.
FIDI-FAIM Certified with factual
findings
Your company does not meet all the FIDI-FAIM standards and has to improve on some elements. The factual findings must be rectified within 3 months after this report date. Once all factual findings are solved, a FIDI-FAIM certificate is issued. In the event of
insufficient or inadequate evidence, certification will not be granted.
Not Certified Your company has too many and/or major factual findings. FIDI-FAIM certification will not be granted.
2) FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure results
This section will inform you on the following scores:
· Factual findings points: This is the total number of factual findings points resulting from the identified non-conformances with the FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure program. Based on this number, the company may opt for an extended FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure cycle.
· Score Competence Test: this is the result of the competence test taken during the FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure day.
· Company Program Score: this is the score of your company, measured against the FIDI-FAIM standard. This score takes only into account those elements required by the program standard. A perfect “FIDI-FAIM” Company will achieve a Company Program Score of 100 %. Factual findings will lower your Company Program Score. · Company Total Score: this is the score of your company, measured against all
examined elements (standard elements as well as additional benchmarking elements).
2.1. Factual Findings overview
This section provides you with the overview of all factual findings your company has to improve on. Factual findings are elements that were not in conformance with the standard and that require extra attention and improvement actions.
794-01 BIARD International - Paris
It describes you per factual finding:
· The existing factual finding definition,
· The improvement actions that have to be carried out to become conform to the standard,
· The description of the improvement evidence that needs to be sent in the evidence package.
2.3. The improvement evidences:
· Need to be sent to the FAIM Co-ordination Centre · In ONE complete package
· It is important that the evidences are received AND reviewed by the FAIM Co-ordination Centre before the factual findings due date, i.e. 3 months after this FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure report date.
3) Benchmark results
This section provides you with a graphical overview of the benchmark results. The observation results are divided into four processes, being:
· Resources: covering the parameters B2, B3 and B5
· Business competence: covering the parameters B1, B6, B7 and M1 · Service: covering the parameters M2, M3, M4, M5 and M7

How to interpret the FAIM Benchmark?
The FAIM Benchmark shows your company’s score on each of the 16 parameters in respect of the FIDI-FAIM standard. 100% (i.e. Maximum Level) means that your company is perfectly FAIM compliant. If your company doesn’t have 100% on a certain parameter, it means that one or more factual findings were identified for this parameter. Also, the FAIM
Benchmark shows your company’s score on process level. As you probably know, the
parameters are clustered in four processes: Business competence, Resources, Service and Quality and Environment.
On the left, you can find the graph for the process ‘Business Competence’ which shows that the company is not fully compliant on the B1 and M1 parameters. Therefore, this company will need to improve on these parameters in order to obtain their FAIM certificate.
How to interpret the Industry Benchmark?
The Industry Benchmark shows your company’s score on each of the 16 parameters in comparison to the average score of the FAIM/FAIMISO population which went through a compliance procedure since the introduction of the new FAIM program in September 2002. So, if you’re company applied for FAIM, you will be able to see your company’s position compared to the average score of all companies that applied for FAIM. Companies that applied for FAIMISO are not taken into account here.
For companies that applied for FAIMISO, the Industry Benchmark only takes into account the audited FAIMISO population.

Company Score Industry Level
What is the difference with the FAIM
Benchmark?
The Industry Benchmark gives you an idea on how well you scored on the FAIM elements. For example, parameter B6 of the FIDI-FAIM standard requires that you have an anti-burglary system or guard or fenced property. This is the minimum requirement for FAIM in respect of theft prevention equipment. For FAIM, if you have one of these, you are fully FAIM compliant on this element. However,
in the Industry Benchmark, you will have a higher score if you have more available than what is minimum required. For example, if you have a fence AND an anti-burglary system. On the graph above you see that the company is above Industry Level on parameter B6. This means that this company has a better score on this parameter than an average FAIM company, meaning that for this parameter the company has more than what is common in most FAIM companies. For parameters B1 and M1 the company is performing less than the average FAIM population.
Next to that, the Industry Benchmark also takes additional elements into account i.e. elements that are not required for the program. For example, FAIM companies which also satisfy the extra requirements for FAIMISO (e.g. disaster recovery plan) will receive extra points, and thus will have a higher score than companies who don’t. Also, during the FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure many information is gathered that is not required for FIDI-FAIM nor for FAIMISO. This information can also lead to a higher score (e.g. availability of first aid kit in truck).
How to interpret the Continental Benchmark?
. The principal is similar as for the Industry Benchmark, but here your company’s score is compared with the average score of the FAIM/FAIMISO population in your continent only.

4) Certification maintenance
FIDI-FAIM certified companies are required to maintain their certification at all times through an interim FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure programme as follows:
Maintenance of FIDI-FAIM certification requires a new FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure every 2 years. However, FIDI-FAIM applicants or re-applicants that meet all the FIDI-FAIM standards, with 8 factual findings points or less for FAIM level and with 5 factual findings points or less for FAIMISO, may at their option, opt for the extended
FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure cycle
.Extending the FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure frequency from 2 to 4 years requires FIDI-FAIM companies to undergo a desktop FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure by submitting requisite documentation to the FCC two years after the last FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure date. On condition that the desktop FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure is acceptable to the FCC, no full physical FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure will be required and the certification fee is appropriately reduced. Following a further two years after the acceptable desktop a full re-application and physical FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure is required. If the desktop FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure is unacceptable to the FCC, a full physical FIDI-FAIM compliance procedure is required which fee is payable by the company.
