JUSTIDM CLOUD FEDERATION EDITION PRICING MODEL
This document describes the pricing model for justIDM Cloud Federation Edition. Provision of the service is charged per user per year with the price per user shown in the table in 1.1below.
Discounts are available based on sector and provision of marketing and PR support.
Additional connectors and federated applications may be added at additional cost as shown in the table.
The following definitions apply:
Term Definition
Base Product The Base Package for justIDM includes three connectors:
- 1x connector synchronising user accounts from on-premise authoritative system
- 1x Hosted Shibboleth IDP
- Up to 3 relaying parties (Federated applications) Relaying
Party/Federated Application
A relaying party/federated application is an application, either on-premise or cloud based, which is configured to use justIDM to provide federated authentication. Federated applications are subject to limitations as specified in the justIDM documentation, but broadly speaking must support open standards in order to allow federation to be configured.
For the avoidance of doubt an identity federation such as the UK Access management federation or edugate count as a single relaying party. Where an application delivered as part of a federation requires specific configuration/attribute release outside of the core set this will be classified as a separate application.

Note – a minimum charge of £1,875 / annum applies

User Count Validation
At the start of the implementation the number of users to be included will be documented and the service charged for the whole year.
At the end of the year a report will be produced showing the actual number of users that have been processed through the system and therefore should have been charged for. This “true-up” figure will then be used for the next year. The default billing period is one year.
1.3
On-boarding Fees
An on-boarding fee is charged in year one. The on-boarding fee is calculated as follows:

Marketing and PR Discounts
A 5% p/a discount applies in addition to longer contract discounts subject to the customer agreeing to the following conditions:
• Salford Software are permitted to issue a press release regarding the justIDM contract on receipt of the purchase order
• The customer agrees to work with Salford Software on a case study after initial three months of acceptable service, to be published externally and hosted on Salford Software’s website
• The customer agrees to provide a quote regarding the service which Salford Software may use for marketing

Invoicing
On-boarding fees are invoiced in advance on receipt of a Purchase Order.
Annual fees are invoiced annually in advance of the Go-Live date or its anniversary thereafter.
