INTRODUCTION
As of October 2002, NCTS-San Diego customer's paper-billing
reports are no longer being used. The various reports you received each month will be collected into a unified report that may be
download from the web site. The data will be available in a text format suitable for local printing (HP Laser Jet printing codes are included) and a Microsoft Access database. You can also review your financial status on-line through your web browser. Certify online within 15 days of posting, you can also print out your toll certification letter for faxing/files (fax 619-545-2243). You can also create on-line charts.

• User Profile allows you to change your user name, password,
e-mail address, and lines per page. You need to supply your current
password in order to make any changes. If you provide your e-mail
address, you will be notified when new bills are available, when the bills
are rerun, or when a disputed charge is rejected. You also will not have to
enter your e-mail address when requesting services. The
lines per page
field allows you to determine how many rows appear on a page. Set it to a
low value to receive the results faster or to avoid scrolling, or a high value
(99 is the max) to minimize the number of pages. When
compressed file
download box is checked, the downloads column in the monthly table
(described below) will download compressed files in the ZIP format
• Service Requests provide a form to request Telecommunications Services. Existing data is used to partially complete the form. The finished form is sent to your provisioner as an E-mail message. This feature has not been activated. Please continue to process your
service request as you have in the past.
• Phone lookup allows three types of directory searches. Individuals can be searched by name. Commands can be selected from lists or by providing partial information. The matching data is displayed in a listing that breaks on pages determined by the lines per page setting. The phone lookup can be provided to other users by logging in with the Username and Password set to:XXXXX This feature will not be updated – Continue to call the base operator for published numbers.
• Online charts are provided to allow you to display your data as summary charts. You can select from among the JON’s you are assigned, individual bill sources (default is by quarter). You can choose to include or not include different months.
• The contact E-mail link uses your browser settings to send an E-mail message to the site administrators.
• The miscellaneous page contains notification of events and changes to the system as well as utilities to download. The utilities generally work with the data download described below.
• Help brings up the instruction screen. • Home returns you to the beginning.
The monthly table displays a single row for each month with the most recent month first. The columns are described below for each bill month/JON. If your profile only allows a single JON then the JON column will not appear.
• Download: this cell contains links labeled report and data. The report link displays/downloads a simple text document with HP Laser Jet Printer Codes at the top. Once you have downloaded your report form, you can simply copy it to your printer (copy file name to prn in a DOS/NT command box). The data format contains essentially the same information in a Microsoft Access 97 database including summary and detail information for each phone number. • Financial Status: This link appears on on the most recent month of the fiscal year and
displays the funded amount, year-to-date expenses, current month expenses, balance and projected balance. The projected balance is computed by taking the current balance and subtracting the projected expenses. The projected expenses are computed by taking the average monthly expenses and multiplying by the number of months remaining in the fiscal year.
• Review Charges: Thereview charges pages show the charges for each service telephone number (service tn). The search link allows you to limit the service tn’s which appear. If you enter the beginning service tn, the list will start with the first match greater than or equal to the one entered. Similarly, entering the end service tn limits the search to ones less than or equal to the one entered. The review and search pages both go to the list of service tn’s and their charges. Clicking on the nontolls link displays the non-toll charges, the tolls link results in a similar list of toll charges. The total link displays summary information with all the charges for the month for that phone.
• NOT ACTIVATED -- Next to each listing is a check box marked dispute. If there is something wrong with a charge, you can dispute it by checking the checkbox and hitting the submit
button. This brings up a page with the opportunity to select a reason for the dispute and provide a comment. We cannot
automatically approve disputed charges, so the administrators will review the charges you are disputing. Initially, the disputed charges are marked with an
unapproved status flag. The administrators can then change the status to accepted or rejected. Rejected disputes can be flagged to all resubmitting the dispute if more information is provided. Once disputes are accepted or rejected, you cannot make further changes. If you provide an e-mail address in your profile you will be
informed when disputes are rejected. The bills may be sealed by your
administrators to prevent further changes. Sealed months are marked with a flag and new disputes cannot be added.
• Disputed Charges: These links show just the disputed charges, their current status, and associated other data.
This feature has not been activated; we will notify you when this module is activated. If you have a problem please e-mail or call your base specialties or the TMS Mgmt Department.
• Certify: The certify link brings up a summary statement which includes the disputed charges that have been accepted.
Please Note: Download your data files and archive these reports for your future use they will be clean off the site after so many months.
