ONLINE ORDERING USER GUIDE

 To get to the main E-Commerce login page, follow the login instructions from the Kegel's Produce site OR enter the following URL into your browser:

https://orders.kegels.com/ppro/online?command=welcome.create

 You will be taken to the following page. Enter your web login/password. If you do not have a username and password, or are unsure of what it is, please contact your sales representative.

 The Welcome link shows an initial page outlining the order guidelines like so:

 The “Place an Order” link is how you actually begin the process to create an order in the system from Kegel's Produce. When you first click on the link, you will see a page that asks you to select a delivery date from a drop down:

 After clicking submit, you will be taken to your profile/price list page. You can set up either a profile or price list through us that will determine what items show up on this page (usually your commonly ordered items for your convenience).

 To search for an item, use the search bar at the top of the page. You can enter an item code, item description or part of an item description (for example, if you want to see all of the 'apple' items available, you can simply type 'app' and search). Please note that your search entry must contain at least three characters.

 Additionally, when searching, you can select either “Profile” or “Catalog”. If you select Profile, the system will search only items in your profile. If you select Catalog, the system will search every item we offer.

 To start ordering items, simply start typing quantities into the text fields under the “order” column. The site will automatically separate items that are and are not in your profile for you:

 Once you are done adding all of your items, click the “View Shopping Cart” button. You will then be taken to your Shopping Cart page:

 From here, you can update your shopping cart by changing quantities, deleting lines and adding comments (for example, if you want a certain level of ripeness).

 On this page, you can enter up to two PO numbers for the order, a list of e-mail addresses that should receive an order confirmation and any general comments about the order:

 When you are ready, click “Approve Order”. This will open the Order Recap page which summarizes your information and the items you ordered. From here, you can click the “Print Preview” button which opens a printable page summarizing your order. You can also start a new order or click “Exit Online Ordering” to sign out of our system.

 At this point, you will also receive an order confirmation email (please be patient as this may take a minute!).

 The “Order History” page lets you search past orders by date range, PO number, Sales Order number, or Order Status. Please note that the correct format to search a date range is

MM/DD/YYYY.

 Note that you can also click the calendar icon to the right of the date fields to select a date from the calendar popup:

 Once you enter your search criteria and click “Submit”, you will be taken to a page with a table containing all of your sales orders that meet the defined criteria. You can click the heading of any column to toggle ascending/descending sorting by this column. You can also click on any of the sales order number links in the left-hand column to view the details of that sales order.

 The “Change Password” link allows you to change both your e-mail address and password on file in our system. If you do not wish to change your password, you can leave the “New” and “Confirm” password fields blank. Alternatively, if you do not wish to change your e-mail address, you can leave the “Email” field blank.

 The “Contact Us” page will take you to a short form you can use for feedback about the website, the E-Commerce ordering process, how we are doing as a company, etc. Your sales representative will receive this feedback. Please note that this form is not meant to be used for urgent matters such as changes to an order. For issues such as changes to an order, please call us!

 The “Log Out” link will log you out of our E-Commerce ordering system and re-direct you back to the main Kegel's Produce website.

 Please note that if you leave your computer logged in, your session will eventually time out and you will be disconnected from our system. To find out what the current session timeout limit is, please contact your sales representative.

 If you are logged out in the middle of placing an order, you can log back in, start an order, select the same delivery date, and the items you previously added to your shopping cart will show up so you can continue where you left off.
