• Check that Items have Suppliers

• Make sure the Standard Price is the current Supplier Price

TROUBLESHOOTING FOR BOX 7

If you look at the inventory and it’s still at “0” or the minimum value, then do these two things:

•Troubleshooting Step #1: Go to Correct Staged Errors page and enter the putaway location.

•Troubleshooting Step #2: Go to the Stockroom Feedback page to confirm the location and putaway plan so it will go to the Inventory pages.

FINISH

When the item(s) at “0” or min value:

ERROR IN BOX 5?

If no PO is created, go to the Sourcing Workbench to find out if there is an error. Typically an error occurs when no Supplier is set up for the item or there are price variances. If there is an error, reset the requisition in the Sourcing Workbench (move from Error status to Approved status).

Option 1: Modify the item record and re-run the process.

Option 2: Modify the requisition.

Option 3: Use Copy Req to PO.

Creating Item IDs in the Catalog

A. Add Items in the SETID level

[Define Items]

• Create a new item in the SetID

(district level) in order to use the item in the

multiple PeopleSoft applications, including Inventory,

Purchasing, and eProcurement.

• Enter Description, Status, Inventory Item, Category Code, Family.

• Assign a Supplier ID.

• Assign a Unit of Measure (UOM).

B. Add Items in the BUSINESS

UNIT Level

• Items are initially created in the SetID (district level) and then they are defined at the business unit level

(warehouse).

• Define the basic business unit item attributes such as the item’s cost element and define item replenishment attributes.

C. Define Default Putaway Location

• You can assign or update default putaway locations for an item. The putaway location is the area in your warehouse facility where you will physically store the item.

D. Define Picking Location

• You can assign an item to a fixed picking location to ensure that it will be picked from the same storage location.
