MAXIS Global Benefits
Network
Who we are
MAXIS Global Benefits Network (GBN)1 is one of the world’s leading global benefits networks. By
combining the size, strength and stability of AXA and MetLife, two of the world’s largest and most trusted companies, MAXIS GBN is able to offer holistic global benefit solutions, tailored to meet the unique needs and objectives of our clients in 111 markets around the world.
The changing landscape of Global Benefits
Diminishing returns on multinational pooling, increasing interest in the use of captives, a greater thirst for information and rising healthcare costs make for a challenging environment for international benefits and risk managers. As client demands evolve, MAXIS GBN is at the leading edge of current trends in the global benefits arena, offering a comprehensive range of solutions and the latest developments in pooling and global programs, including innovative approaches to pricing.
Why we are different
Unlike many global benefits networks, MAXIS GBN is centrally managed, and the majority of MAXIS GBN members are owned by MetLife and AXA. In fact, 60% of our members are owned by MetLife and AXA, a significantly higher share of member ownership than any other network.2 This structure
enables us to offer better control, greater consistency and the opportunity to review pricing and underwriting conditions from a truly global perspective.
1 MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) is administered by AXA France Vie S.A., Paris, France (AXA) and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, New York, NY
(MetLife) and is a network of locally licensed MAXIS Member insurance companies. MAXIS GBN is not an insurance provider and only the MAXIS Member insurance companies provide insurance. The Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (“MLIC”) is a member of MAXIS GBN and MLIC is licensed to transact insurance business in New York and other members of MAXIS GBN are not authorised to transact insurance business in New York.
