APPLICATION PROCESS:

1. Upon request, applicants will receive a Practical Nursing packet, which includes an application. 2. Two forms of Identification are required at the time of testing (one must be photo ID). 3. Applications, with the $100.00 testing fee, must be submitted to the Burlington County

Institute of Technology, Adult Education Division, Attn: Practical Nursing Admissions, 695 Woodlane Road, Westampton, NJ 08060.

4. Upon receipt of the completed application and the $100 .00 testing fee, the applicant will be contacted via phone by the examiner within one week to ten days to schedule an appointment. The testing is done at the Westampton Campus only.

5. The test will measure the applicant’s Mathematical and Language Skills and Reading Comprehension. A list of suggested books is included under LPN Testing Recommended Text section, to help prepare the candidate for this test. These books can be found in libraries, book stores and on-line. Any book that addresses “Studying for Basic Skills Tests” is recommended as a refresher. Candidates may bring a calculator to the testing session.

6. If unable to keep your scheduled appointment, you must call 24 hours in advance to cancel it. Failure to do so will cause delay in rescheduling a new test date. Three cancellations will result in deactivation of your application. Call 609-267-4226, ext. 231 to cancel/reschedule date.

7. Applicants will receive test results, via letter, within approximately two weeks of their testing session. If an applicant does not pass all portions of the test, they may remediate deficiencies and retake those portions missed within the assigned timelines.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT:
