Within the welcome email you receive you will notice
your Username and a link to set your password. Click
on this link to set your password.

Enter your password information and click “Change
Password”.
• The login screen will appear and prompt you to enter
your Username and Password.

Click the “download” button located on the bottom left
corner of the screen.

Once you have installed RCG Onyx Plus an icon will be
added to your desktop. Double click the icon to start the
application.

• Connection Status is displayed on the Host and Price buttons, if either turns orange or red you are no longer
connected.
• Open any window on the platform from the Toolbar.
• Flip the Toolbar horizontally by clicking “Flip”. • Minimize and Maximize the platform by
clicking “Min” and “Max” on the Toolbar
Using the Contracts Window
Type a contract code or part of a contract name in the Filter to narrow your search Use the exchange drop-down
menu to filter by exchange OR to locate custom spreads *Only users who subscribe to
the auto-spreader can see custom spreads*
Easily switch tabs to view Futures or Options contract

Use these drop-down menus to search for a particular
month or year
Click “New Spread” to use the auto-spreader to create a spread. *Only users who subscribe to
the Auto-Spreader will see this button*
• The windows within RCG Onyx Plus allow you to drag and drop contracts from the Contracts window into the Ticket, ABV and Quotes windows
• The Ticket can be opened from
the Toolbar by clicking “Ticket”, which will open a default ticket. Clicking “trade” on the Quotes window will also open a ticket, which will be auto- populated with the contract in the quotes window.
• The trade ticket will allow you to define your trade parameters, such as
exchange, order type and price. • Click “Submit” to place a trade.
• Clicking the ABV button will open a blank ABV window and allow you to drag a contract from the Contracts, Quotes, Positions, Orders or Fills windows into the ABV.
• The ABV window displays market depth provided by the exchange and allows users to place market, limit, stop and synthetic orders
Buy Stops Place buy stops above the market by
right-clicking in the BID column (this must be enabled in the Settings on the
Toolbar)
Sell Stops Place sell stops below the market by
right-clicking in the ASK column (this must be enabled in the Settings on the
Toolbar) Sell Limit Place sell limit orders
by clicking in the ASK column at the
limit price of your choice
Buy Limit Place buy limit orders by clicking in the BID column at the
limit price of your choice
High of the Day The high of the day is displayed in red at
the top of the price column and is also highlighted by a red
bar at that price within the screen
High of the Day The high of the day is displayed in red at

High of the Day The high of the day is displayed in red at
the top of the price column and is also highlighted by a red

Low of the Day The low of the day is

Net Position This number displays
your net position for the displayed
contract
Last Price This number displays
the last traded price
Volume/Quantity The number to the
left is the total volume traded at that price since it began trading at that price and the number within the parenthesis is the last quantity traded
at that price
Thermometer Displays market direction in
ticks from the time you placed the contract into the
ABV
Green= upward movement
Red= downward movement
Yellow= no change
Net Change Displays the net
change for the current trading
session

• The Quotes, Positions and Orders windows are displayed in the default layout
• From here you can view live-streaming market data, monitor your positions and P&L, manage your orders and amend or cancel working orders.
• Reports are accessible via the main toolbar or by logging into RCG Onyx Plus Web at www.RCGdirect.com

• The WebTrader is a browser based version of the trading platform that can be accessed anywhere that you have internet access, including on an iPad or Mac.
