How To Make Sure You Receive New Penn Emails

Why Do New Penn Emails Not Reach My Inbox?

Depending on the email system you use to check email and the spam filter software it’s using,

emails can be marked as junk, spam or not even delivered altogether for many reasons:

- Certain words or phrases trip spam filters. If you marked other company’s emails with

similar words or phrases as spam, chances are New Penn’s emails may be “caught”

- If your email server became temporarily unavailable (even for a minute) emails could

receive an “undeliverable” notice.

- If your mailbox was recently full and exceeded storage allocation, emails won’t be

delivered

- Your spam filter doesn’t like the ratio of pictures to text

- If you’re using email systems provided by ISPs (Internet Service Providers) like Comcast,

AOL, etc., these systems can react to the behavior of other users within their systems that

are totally unrelated to you and cannot be predicted.

To prevent email from New Penn from being blocked as spam or moved to your junk folder, select

the email system you use below and click the link for detailed instructions.

Providers that return bitmask status codes may return a status code of 127.0.0.x, where the integer x is any one of the following values:

1: The IP address is on an IP Allow list.

2: The Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server is configured to act as an open relay. 4: The IP address supports a dial-up IP address.

Providers that return absolute values and the explicit responses may return one of the following responses:

127.0.0.2: The IP address is a direct spam source 127.0.0.4: The IP address is a bulk mailer

127.0.0.5: The remote server that is sending the message is known to support multistage open relays.
