‘Learning about a completely new and interesting subject was something I really enjoyed. ‘The Business School is very good at connecting people with their placements: I spent last year with Boots UK Nottingham in the Buying and Trading department. What is an Integrated Masters?

An Integrated Masters is a four-year degree, which includes short-term work experience, and allows you to combine three years of undergraduate-level study with one year of postgraduate-level study.

What are the benefits?

Gain a higher level degree with a postgraduate qualification in the same time it takes to complete an undergraduate degree.

Most undergraduate degrees include a placement year or overseas study in their third year. An Integrated Masters allows you to achieve a higher-level degree in the same time it would take you to do a four-year undergraduate degree. In today’s competitive job market, this will make you stand out to employers and allow you to demand a higher salary.

Study an Integrated Masters

for a Competitive Edge

Work experience is included

Whilst you are unable to take a full year out to do a work placement or a year of overseas study, our Integrated Masters includes short-term internships for one term in years two and three, meaning you still gain vital work experience before graduating.

At MMU Business School, we offer two Integrated Masters which will allow you to gain higher-level skills in a subject area of your choice.

M.Bus (Hons) Business

Our M.Bus (Hons) Business Integrated Masters offers you the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of business and management, with the choice to specialise in units covering subjects such as: • Marketing

• Accounting and Finance • Strategy

• Enterprise

M.HRM (Hons) Human Resource Management

Our M.HRM (Hons) Human Resource Management Integrated Masters allows you to explore the study of human resources and people management to a higher level, and qualify for an Advanced Award from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) – the professional qualification to become an HR Manager.

You can specialise your studies by choosing from

Exchange and Study Abroad

Many of our courses offer three, six or ten month options to study abroad with one of our exchange partner institutions in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan and the USA, or in Europe through the ERASMUS scheme.

It’s a great way to experience another culture, country and education system and our students tell us it’s a life changing experience.

The Faculty of Business and Law works successfully

in partnership with institutions and sponsors across

the globe and is actively building this higher education

network in order to reach new students as well as

provide invaluable opportunities to our UK students.

‘My Erasmus year was the best year of my life. I made the best memories, friendships and experiences and was able to live in another country as a local rather than a tourist. My language skills developed immensely, and I developed so much as a person, becoming more self-sufficient, confident and organised. The memories I made will stay with me forever.’
