Maximum axle load
In order to select the right KONI SPORT SPRINGS,
KONI needs to know the maximum axle loads of
the car. These values are stated on the vehicle
identification in the car. This sticker or metal plate
is usually located in the engine compartment. Value
1 is the maximum permissible axle load for the front
axle. Value 2 is the maximum permissible axle load for
the rear axle. These values are also stated on the Tüv
certificate. Please check carefully before ordering or
mounting the KONI SPORT SPRING Kit.

KONl Car Shock Absorber Program
This is ground control.
KONl enhances the look and feel of any car. The state-of-the-art range of shocks, lowering springs and sport kits
in this catalog gives an overview of the many possibilities for customization and personalization. Quite simply,
KONl makes driving more individual and more fun. And the car not only looks better - it drives better.
The given numbers help to find the right shock absorber types. The
part number consists of a construction group number referring
to the type of construction of the shock, and a reference number
referring to the shocks application.
In some cases the reference number contains an “L” or “R” (Left or
Right side). Yellow shock absorbers have the extension “SPORT”.
Specially built shocks have different extensions, for example “SP”,
or “SPD,” or “SPA” and “SPX” (4WD). The numbers on the right
refer to a yellow complete McPherson strut, twin-tube with
low-pressure gas, sport version, construction Type 8741. In this case
for a BMW E36, front axle, left. The rebound damping is externally
adjustable.
